Dear Well-wishers, Adi Shankaracharya is the traditional Guru of all Hindus. He was born 2513 years ago. He re-established Hindu Dharma and became saviour of all virtuous men. He established 4 Cardinal Universities at 4 Directions of India. Those are SHRI GOVARDHAN MUTT AT JAGANNATH PURI IN EAST, SHRI SHARADA MUTT AT SHRINGERI IN SOUTH , SHRI SHARADA MUTT AT DWARKA IN WEST,SHRI JYOTIR MUTT AT BADRI IN NORTH. All these mutts are of equal importance. The head of these mutts are termed as JAGADGURU SHANKARACHARYA. These Mutts guide the Hindu People and provide religious preachings. Similarly, these Mutts guide the whole world towards the path of Eternal Happiness, thus the Acharyas of these Mutts are known as Jagadguru The Guru of the Entire World. The disciples of these Mutts strive for the betterment of the Entire World in accordance with the Dharma. Maintaining this virtuous aim in mind and with the Holy Consent of Shrimat Jagadguru Sankaracharya Pujyasri Nishchalananda Saraswathi Mahaswamigal, the Peetha Parishad , Aditya Vaahinee, Anand Vaahinee, of Maharashtra Region , will be guiding the performance of Sri Navagraham

Panchanga Purashcharanatmak Mahayajnam, to be conducted at Sri Shankaracharya Devasthanam , Nirmal, Vasai (Dist. Thane). The Sthala Puranam of this Kshethram is cited in the various Puranams including the Skandam. This Mahayajnam is to be conducted on Vaishakha Krishna Pradosham, i.e. 4 th June 2005. In ancient times, such Yajnas, were performed in every household. The offerings of these Yajnas used to nourish the Devathas. Thus, Devathas used to remain pleased and grant various boons upon society. But, due to the advent of Kaliyuga, people face lack of vigour, interest, time, money and virtuous Vedic Brahmins required for such Mahayajnas. Thus devatas are not nourished properly and the wrath come upon the society and families. All these can be clearly seen by the Graha Doshams occurring in the Janma Kundalis. To get rid of these Doshams, every person should perform Yajnas and Shanthis. But such Mahayajnas are very difficult to be performed in individuals residence. Thus, these cn be collectively performed , at present times, with Unity of all Hindus. 4 th June 2005 has the following peculiarities. It occurs duringthe Vasantha Ritu, Vaishakha Masa, Saturday, Shobhana Yoga, Sun mercury Yuti, Rahu Mars, Jupiter Kethu Yuti. This is a very rare Yoga. Thus , the Mahayajnam is arranged on 4 th June 2005. The following are the details of the Mahayajnam. The special 1,50,000 japam will be performed in the days prior to the Mahayajnam at the above said Mandiram .The 15,000 aahutis each of Samits, pure Cow Ghee, and Til would be offered. This Mahayajnam will be performed in the 4 Yajnya Kundas according to the Vedic Method, by 17 Brahmins. At the end Vastra Danam , Dakshina Sambhavana and Brahma- Bhoja would be offered to the Brahmins. The participant Hindus would become the recipients of the Virtue (Punya) of this Maha Yajnya. Those who are suffering from the Graha Doshams, Shani Sade Saati, Panavathi, Rahu- Kethu Doshams, Kuja (Mangal) Doshams, would participate in this Mahayajnya to receive blessings of the Navagrahams. The Maha Sankalpa Sahayoga Rashi has been decided as Rs 1001/- Per Mahasankalpam participant. The Mahasankalpam participant can be accompanied by 3 others for partaking the Prasadam . Those who are just interested in the Darshanam can visit the Yajnya Venue after 05:00 PM on 04/06/2005. The participants who would offer the Dakshina by their free will to the 3 Cardinal Brahmins would be offered at the Lotus Feel of His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahaswamigal. Also, the funds remaining after the Mahayajnya would be donated to the Shri Shankaracharya Devasthanam , Nirmal for the Renovation Activities, to the Vedanta Vidyapeetha, Nagar for the propogation of the Vedas, and to the Shri Taranekar Maharaj Sadhana Sabhagriha, Ganagapur for its development.
