One of the passenger booked on an E-ticket is required to present any of the five identity cards noted below in original during the train journey and same will be accepted as a proof of identity failing which all the passengers will be treated as travelling without ticket and shall be dealt as per extant Railway Rules. Valid Ids:- Voter Identity Card / Passport / PAN Card / Driving License / Photo ID card issued by Central / State Govt. for their employees. The accommodation booked is not transferable and is valid only if one of the ID card noted above is presented during the journey. The passenger should carry with him the Electronic Reservation Slip print out. In case the passenger does not carry the electronic reservation slip, a charge of Rs.50/- per ticket shall be recovered by the ticket checking staff and an excess fare ticket will be issued in lieu of that. In case e-ticket is booked through an agent, please contact MakeMyTrip for cancellations.

Rules for Waitlisted E tickets passengers a) Status of E-tickets after chart preparation 1. Confirmed E-ticket Wait-listed E- ticket where all passengers are confirmed at the time of charting. 2. Partially waitlisted/Confirmed/RAC E ticket -Wait-listed E- ticket where some passengers are confirmed/RAC and others are wait-listed at the time of charting. 3. Fully waitlisted E-tickets - Wait-listed E- ticket where all passengers continue to be waitlisted at the time of charting.

b) Authorization to board the train 1. Passengers with Confirmed E-ticket are permitted to board the train. Their names will appear on the chart. 2. Names of passengers with Partially Waitlisted /Confirmed/RAC will appear on the chart (including the Waitlisted passengers). 3. PNRs having Fully waitlisted status will be dropped and names of the passengers will not appear on the chart. They are not allowed to board the train. If full waitlisted passengers are found travelling, they will be treated as without ticket and charged as per extant Railway rules.

c) Cancellation rules 1. Confirmed E ticket can be cancelled by passengers through internet before chart preparation only. 2. Partially waitlisted/Confirmed/RAC E ticket can be cancelled by passengers through internet before chart preparation only.

3. Fully waitlisted E tickets can be cancelled by passenger using internet before chart preparation. After chart preparation it will be cancelled by Railways and money refunded automatically.

d) Refund rules 1. After chart preparation, Fully Waitlisted tickets will be cancelled by the Railways and a refund shall be credited to the agent's account on the account/card used at the time of booking 2. After chart preparation, refunds for Confirmed/RAC/Partially Waitlisted tickets will be processed through TDR process. You can contact the agent to file a TDR online and for the refund process as sanctioned by the Railways.

E-ticket passenger is permitted in the train against a berth/seat only when his name appears in the reservation chart failing which he can be treated as a passenger traveling without ticket. E-ticket cannot be cancelled after chart preparation through internet.You are requested to contact the agent for the online TDR filing & Status tracking. Bank charges, if any, will be payable extra. The compartment/cabin/coupe numbers for first ACC and first class will be allotted at the time of chart preparation The customer who has opted for auto-up gradation during booking of his/her e-ticket is requested to check the up-gradation chart before boarding the train.

Confirmed E ticket - E-ticket where all passengers are confirmed. Partially waitlist/Confirmed/RAC E ticket - E-ticket where some passengers are confirmed/ RAC and other wait-listed. Fully waitlisted E tickets - E-ticket where all passengers are waitlisted. b) Authorization to board the train :

Passengers with confirmed E ticket are permitted to board the train. Their names will appear on the reservation chart. Name of passengers with Partially Waitlisted /Confirmed/RAC will appear on the chart (including the waitlisted passengers in the partially waitlist ticket). c) Cancellation & refund rules :

Confirmed E-ticket before chart preparation: E-ticket can be cancelled online and the amount will be refunded electronically to the MakeMyTrips account used for booking. Confirmed E-ticket after chart preparation: Cancellation/ Refund request received after preparation of chart are forwarded by IRCTC to concerned railway for manual processing. Refund amount received from concerned railway will be credit back to the MakeMyTrips account used for booking by IRCTC. Partially waitlisted E-ticket before chart preparation: E-ticket can be cancelled online and the amount will be refunded electronically to the MakeMyTrip account used for booking. Partially waitlisted E-ticket after chart preparation: E-ticket cannot be cancelled online after chart preparation. Partially waitlisted e-ticket holder where part passengers have travelled and want to claim refund for passengers who have not travelled is required to send the original certificate issued by TTE / Conductor in lieu of the same to IRCTC after filing online refund request through the MakeMyTrip. The partially waitlisted e-ticket holder where no passengers have travelled & wants to claim refund is required to file online refund request through MakeMyTrip. It would then be forwarded to concerned railway and refund received from Railways would be credited back electronically to the MakeMyTrip account used for booking by IRCTC. If the ticket is partially waitlisted/ Confirmed/ RAC at remote location chart preparation then E-ticket cannot be cancelled online. It is required to file refund request online for claiming refund through the MakeMyTrip. It would then be processed offline and refund received from Railways would be credited back electronically to the MakeMyTrip account used for booking by IRCTC. d) Other rules :

If train is cancelled, E-ticket can be cancelled online up to 3 days from the date of departure of the train through the MakeMyTrip account used for booking. The Compartment/ Cabin/ Coupe/ Coach/ Seat numbers for first AC and First class will be allotted at the time of chart preparation The customer who has opted for auto-up gradation during booking of his/her e-ticket is requested to check the up-gradation chart before boarding the train. IRCTC Service Charge for E-Ticket (Service charge levied is not refundable): Class SL/2S 1AC/2AC/3AC/CC/3E/FC Service Charges Rs.10.00/Rs.20.00/-
