Axial needle cage assemblies

Axial needle cage assemblies, composed of synthetic or metal axial cage assemblies with integrated needle rollers, have an extremely low overall height. They tolerate high axial forces acting in one direction, radial forces must be taken up separately. The deployment of axial needle cage assemblies requires that hardened and bevelled thrust surfaces may be used as raceways.

Thrust bearing washers

Thrust bearing washers are punched, hardened and polished and can be used as shaft or housing washers. These washers are appropriate when the adjoining machine part when not hardened, is rigid enough and of a stable form.

Axial needle bearings

Axial needle bearings are components made up of axial needle rollers and cage assemblies and axial washers with centring bore. They can be combined with needle sleeves, needle bushes and needle bearings. The thrust surface for the cage assembly must be hardened and bevelled. The product types AXK and K are applicable here.

DOUBLE ROW SELF-ALIGNING BALL BEARINGS Self-aligning ball bearings are double row, non-separable components, composed of outer rings with concave raceways. In this way, their angle can be adjusted and they are resistant to angular misalignments or shaft deflections. The bearings are available as open and sealed units.

SPHERICAL ROLLER BEARINGS Double row spherical roller bearings have two rows of self-aligning rollers and common spherical raceways on the outer ring. The internal construction of the bearing enables the mirrored misalignment of the rings. Spherical roller bearings can tolerate high radial loads whilst at the same time transmitting axial forces in both directions.

DEEP GROOVE BALL BEARINGS

Single row deep groove ball bearings (Type: 6000/6200/6300) Double row deep groove ball bearings (Type 4200) Deep groove ball bearings are wide ranging, non-separable bearings with solid outer rings, inner rings and bearing housings. These simply built products, steadfast in operation and maintenance friendly, are available as single and double row as well as sealed and open. In technical production, open bearings can have a recess on the outer ring for seals or cover rings. Due to their low moment of friction, deep groove ball bearings are suited to high speeds. Single and double row ball bearings are the most utilised anti-friction bearing. They are simple in construction, non-separable, suited to high speeds and unsusceptible in operation and maintenance. Narrow lubrication between running grooves and balls. Single row deep groove ball bearings tolerate radial and axial forces. Double row deep groove ball bearings have filling grooves, and can therefore only transmit low axial forces. Technical drawing:

ANGULAR CONTACT BALL BEARINGS

Single row angular contact ball bearings

Their angular adjustability is very low. Single row angular contact ball bearings only tolerate axial forces in one direction. They are usually positioned against another bearing, which acts as a steady. The single row angular contact ball bearings are in the model range 7200 and 7300.

Double row angular contact ball bearings

The angular adjustability of the angular contact ball bearing is very low. The bearing can tolerate high radial forces, as well as axial forces in both running directions. This type of bearing is in the model range 3200 and 3300.

PILLOW BLOCKS, BOLT FLANGE UNITS

Our housings and their respective bearings form bearing units which have proven themselves in machines, plant and other equipment. Bearing housings are usually made of cast iron, on request we can deliver housings in cast steel and nodular graphite cast iron. As the bearings are usually lubricated with grease, and this first lubrication holds for quite a while, most housings don't have re-lubrication holes. There are however, gates or markings present, so that lubrication holes can be fitted if necessary. When re-lubricating, it must be ensured that excess lubricant can escape. The bearing seating points in the housings are usually machined so that the bearings are movable, so they function as floating bearings. Fixed bearings are achieved by inserting fixing rings, if these are listed in the table. Fixing rings must be ordered separately. Housings without fixing rings are delivered as floating bearing models (L) or fixed bearing models (F). In order to seal the bearing housings, depending on the operating conditions, contact seals, non-contact seals and combinations of these are available, please refer to the diagram.

BEARING ACCESSORIES Bearing accessories are the standardised machine parts which serve to fix the bearing to the shaft or in the housing bore. This includes adapter and withdrawal sleeves, adapter and withdrawal nuts, locking washers and locking clips for bearings with grooves on the outer ring.

WATER PUMP BEARINGS Water pump bearings are double row bearings; but, as opposed to usual double row bearings, they have no inner ring, but raceways, which are directly machined into the shaft. In this way, there is more room for the rolling element, whereby the specific bearing capacity is greater than in solutions with regular single bearings. Apart from this, this type of bearing the enables the inexpensive combining of rows of ball and roller bearings. CYLINDRICAL ROLLER BEARINGS

Single row cylinder roller bearings with retainer are available as loose bearings, support bearings and fixed bearings. In the range of single row cylinder roller bearings are the model types N, NJ, NU and NUP, whereas the model series NN includes the double row cylinder roller bearings.
