UFD Brand fiberized spray applicators provide exceptional value and adhesive savings when compared to competitive processes, spiral spray and other traditional applicator heads. With ITW Dynatecs patented UFD Omega and random fiber patterns, UFD Brand applicator heads provide up to 50% adhesive savings by using much less glue while maintaining, if not improving, bond strength. UFD produces excellent edge definition, pattern and adhesive lay-down. Line-speed tracking and consistent coat weights are all possible with UFD regardless of variances of web-speed.

DeltaFx Application head

DeltaFx Fiberized Spray Applicators provide a lowcost alternative to our UFD applicators where precise edge definition and adhesive lay-down accuracy are not required. DeltaFx applicators offer a unique flexibility for the coating of breathable patterns with one head and one nozzle covering a width of up to 250mm. Changing adhesive application widths is as simple as increasing or decreasing the distance between the applicator and the substrate. This task is further simplified with our unique bracketry specifically designed for DeltaFx and UFD applicators.

The Gemini Automatic Hot Melt Hose prevents hot melt line downtime by utilizing dual circuitry which activates in the event of a temperature sensor or heater element fault or failure. A set of LED lights illuminate to let the operator know that the switch has been made, and that the hose can be changed when it is convenient to the operator. The Vector platform allows significant savings opportunities in the reduction of product scrap commonly seen when using traditional hot melt equipment during ramp-up and ramp-down of the production line. Through precise metering at the point of application, the length of time to achieve hose system pressurization is vastly reduced thus minimizing product scrap as a result.
