Lynn Blake, GSED, Director of Instruction, Lynn Blake Golf, LLC, will lead this event. Lynn was one of a handful of instructors trained personally and certified as Master Instructor by Homer Kelley, author of The Golfing Machine. Together with his staff instructors, he will open the door to a new understanding of the golf stroke, one that promises dramatic results in both your teaching and your game.

Dan Malizia (pronounced Ma-lize) has been a PGA member since 1991. He has been Head Golf Professional at Pine Tree Golf Club in Boynton Beach, Florida, since 2008. Pine Tree is a Top Five in Florida course that has attracted such members as Sam Snead, Meg Mallon, JoAnne Carner, Beth Daniel, and Karrie Webb. He also has been Head Professional at such prestigious clubs as Charles River CC (Boston, MA), Timuquana CC (Jacksonville, FL), and Hammock Dunes Club (Palm Coast, FL). A dedicated teacher, Dan has been nominated twice for PGA Section Teacher of the Year. He has taught players at all levels including professionals on the minitours, the PGA TOUR, and the Champions Tour. Beginning in 2001 and for the next six years, he worked closely with renowned instructor Mac OGrady. (This was in addition to his Head Professional duties.) During that time he participated in more than thirty schools, serving as both business manager and a member of the teaching staff. He became a Lynn Blake Certified Instructor in June 2009, earned Certified Senior Instructor status in July 2010, and was given the Certified Master Instructor designation in May 2011. Dan can play, too: He holds three course records!
Rick Murphy has spent the last 25 years learning more and more about the golf swing. Along the way, he studied under the late Tom Tomasello and Mac O' Grady. More recently, he has worked extensively with Lynn Blake, who is rapidly gaining international recognition as a golf educator, private teacher, and PGA TOUR coach. The common denominator of these three is that each was trained as an Authorized Instructor of The Golfing Machine by its author, Homer Kelley. In his career, Rick has worked with every imaginable type of student, from beginner to PGA TOUR player. As an example, he was employed from 1995-1999 by the Country Club of Bogota, Colombia, and given a three-fold task: Teach its 1,200 members; build a kids golf program; and train the eight staff professionals to improve their teaching. In the first ten months, Rick gave more than 3,250 thirty-minute lessons. In four years, he gave more than 12,500. Looking back, he says, "It was a learning experience Ill never match in my lifetime." Rick now owns and operates the Rick Murphy Golf Academy in Greensboro, North Carolina. www.rickmurphygolf.com. The facility has seven PGA / LPGA Professional Instructors on staff and runs numerous programs for players of all age and skill levels. Carolina Golf Academy supports Play Golf America programs, putting its focus this year on the Get Golf Ready program being developed for thirteen North Carolina colleges and universities. Rick's accomplishments include: 2011-2012 PGA Instruction Committee 2011 Presenter/PGA Best Practices/ PGA Merchandise Show 2010 / Lynn Blake Certified Master Instructor 2009 Carolinas PGA Teacher of the Year 2009-2012 Golf Digest Top Ten Teachers in North Carolina 2008 Carolinas PGA Golf Professional of the Year 2001 Carolinas PGA Teacher of the Year 1988 National Junior Golf Leader Award - PGA of America

LynnBlake
Certified Instructor
The Lynn Blake Instructor Certification Program offers comprehensive training in precision Golf Stroke Mechanics, their variations and how they are best learned. Also, it stresses the mental techniques and programming necessary to achieve peak performance. The program consists of four levels: Lynn Blake Certified Instructor / Associate Lynn Blake Certified Instructor / Qualified Lynn Blake Certified Instructor / Senior Lynn Blake Certified Instructor / Master Each level is progressive and more challenging. Associate status requires successful completion of either an approved on-site Workshop or through an on-line training course. Qualified status requires a rigorous, four-day training program conducted by an approved Senior Instructor at an approved site. Senior Instructor status requires even more in-depth academic training, plus extensive training in teaching techniques and hands-on work with students in our national golf schools. The Master Instructor designation is reserved for those who have demonstrated the highest levels of proficiency in both the academic and teaching phases of our training. Status at each level is rewarded with a Certificate of Completion, together with all its rights and privileges, including a listing on www.lynnblakegolf.com and discounted pricing on Lynn Blake Golf products and services. Active status requires an originating Lynn Blake Certified Instructor Agreement, submission of an annual information form and payment of a modest annual fee.

From a teaching and knowledge perspective Outstanding. This class moves so fast that trying to listen, read the screen, fill in the blanks, and watch Lynn did not afford me time to make my other notes. Cliff Thomas, PGA, Greensboro CC My expectations were high before arrival and have been far surpassed. Awesome. Hospitality was fantastic. Michael Phillips, PGA, Sun Country Section, Los Alamos GC 10+. Love it want more. Like to become certified. Cecil Worsley, Eagle Point Golf Club Lynn, Thank you so much for coming to the Carolinas Section. You have helped me understand the info by teaching it in a way that I will remember. This class was awesome and cant wait to do the four day seminar. Brandon Snellings, PGA, Carolina Trace CC Was a blast. The most knowledgeable instructor I have met. Unsigned Absolutely enjoyed my two days and have an interest in further seminars with you. Would love to see how you apply the information in live lessons to students who are all skills levels. Ed Ibarguen, PGA, Duke University Golf Club This motivates me to become the best I can be as a golf instructor. I would love one day to take a golf lesson with Lynn. I really believe that an instructor must become proficient at a skill/mechanic in order to teach/explain that item at its best. The seminar was the best I ever attended. Thanks Lynn and good luck!! Brent Reneau, PGA, Director of Instruction, Fort Mill GC Lynn and Rick, Thanks very much for 2 of the best days in my golfing life! Walker Taylor, Eagle Point GC Great experience. Lynn, you sure know your stuff. Robert Weinerth, PGA, Chatmoss CC
