National Level Science Talent Search Examination - 2012 The NSTSE shall be a comprehensive, independent examination that delivers challenging and high quality educational experience through a broad array of applied learning settings. The NSTSE question papers are scientifically designed to test concepts underlying the curriculum in a interesting way. If there is more than one student who achieves the same, the prize money will be distributed equally. Each topper will get either this prize or the regular prize (refer B). Consolation Prizes Top ranker in each class from selected cities* will be awarded with a Britannica Concise Encyclopedia - 2011 edition CD worth Rs.995/. Top ranker in a city from each class (II VI) will be offered a discount coupon of 25% (Rs. 450) on Unified Knowledge Box Activity kit and those from each class (VII IX) will be offered a discount coupon of 25% (Rs. 375) on Ambition IIT/AIEEE material. Note: City wise topper is declared after the 100 ranks across the country and state toppers. NSTSE will be based on the CBSE syllabus. 75% of the Syllabus considered for setting the NSTSE Question Paper. NSTSE question papers are also suitable for students following ICSE/ISC and various other State Board syllabi. Examination Schedule Date : 04th December, 2011 (Sunday) Time : 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon Examination Fee Students who wish to appear for the NSTSE are required to pay an Examination Fee of Rs. 100 + Rs.15 towards Student's Performance Report (SPR).
