Coping/ Stress Tolerance Pattern When asked about her way of dealing with stress, the client said

Pag stress ako, I used to take a shower because it makes me feel relax and relief afterwards. Tapos magiging mabango pa ako diba? Pero minsan kapag depressed naman ako, kain ako ng kain. She also stated that she always pray and asks for God s help for her to overcome the struggles that come into her life. She also said that she is glad to have friends in RBTC whom she trust and gives her company especially when she s feeling alone and missing her family. She said that as much as she could, she doesn t want to entertain negative thoughts in her mind. She wants to stay positive all the time. Interaction Pattern When asked about her interaction with others, the client said, I m the kind of person that when you re nice to me, I am also nice to you. I used to be very friendly with all of the patients here, but then as I mentioned, there was a time that I got annoyed because of the male patients here, since then I seldom or not speak to them. I don t find any problem with my interactions with my family and friends. Cognitive Pattern (kim) Self- Perception / Self- Concept Pattern The client said that she now feels more comfortable with herself compare to her early days of stay in RBTC. She said that somehow she was able to have progress, that she was no longer shorttempered, the one that easily gets annoyed. She said that she s a sweet and caring type of person. She stated that she is also comfortable with her physical appearance, because she believed that it is God given. She also does not feel inferior to others. When asked to rate her overall health, she said that it is 5 to 7 out of 10. She said, I think I am in a progress of getting well, pero malayo parin ang tatahakin ko. There are still a lot to improve. But I believe that someday, I ll get there. Furthermore, she said that she accepts that she is mentally ill, but she believes that someday she will be cured, and will be with her family again. Emotional Pattern The client said, I think I am an emotional kind of person. Sometimes, I get sad because of my condition, and also because I miss my family. And you know, there are times I think of that someone, but then I decided not to entertain those kind of thoughts because it will only hurt me. Sexuality Pattern When asked about her sexuality, the client said that she found herself to be feminine and she did not experience any identity crisis during her adolescent years. She also said that she views sex

mainly as procreating, that marriage must come first before doing the act of sex. She said that she is conservative, that her family raised them in a conservative way. Family Coping Pattern The client said that her family denies her progress. They said that she is not yet well and might not function well in the society. She said that, Ok naman yung relationship naming ng mga kapatid ko, minsan binibisita nila ako ditto, minsan phone call. Ok na ako dun. Naiintindihan ko na siguro busy lang din sila. Wala naman kaming naging problema sa pag-aaral ko hanggang sa makapagtapos ako. And I believe that they are proud of me, of whatever my accomplishments in life are. And I m thankful because despite my conditions, hindi naman nila ako pinabayaan. I think they only want the best for me even if it means staying here in RBTC and being away from them. Role- Relationship Pattern ( Significant Relationship) When asked about her relationships, the client said, Well, I have two best friends here. They are Taparan and Perez. Because among the patients here, sa kanila ako komportable. Before, I consider having friendship with the male patients here, but then there was a time that they offended me. Since then, told myself that it might be better if I will not be friends with them anymore. Because when they bully me, it triggers my illness, I became restless and I don t want it. Recreation Pattern The client said, Sometimes, I am bored here. Because first of all, we don t have any materials here or recreation aside from the television. So to kill boredom, we just sleep, or talk to the other patients, or sa nurse, or watch television. I am thankful and glad that you students are giving us time and providing us recreation. Environment Pattern The client said, Well as you can see, we are quite secluded here, and lack sunlight. And we are getting a bit crowded. But the cleanliness is still maintained, and kahit hindi ganoon kalaki, komportable naman kami kahit paano. Spiritual Pattern ( Religious Beliefs and Practices) When asked if there are any religious practices important to her, she said that she always pray in the morning and every night before she goes to sleep. She said that her illness did not interfere with her religious practice; instead it made her to become closer to God. She said, God is really listening to my prayers. She also said that her faith gives her strength and hope that someday she will be with her family again and that she will be cured. During hard times, she said that it is her family and God that gives her strength.

Values Beliefs Pattern The client said, I am a Roman Catholic, and I believe that God must come first before anything. I also believe that we should never fall in love intensely to any man. Marry before sex. Be moderate in anger, follow the Golden Rule, and honesty is the best policy. She said that she doesn t found her values and beliefs to be conflicting with her health issues; rather it makes her more close to wellness.
