Grand Rapids Public Schools Bi-tech Conversion Team leader/Member - (June 97 to July 01) * Responsible for learning the Human Resource, Payroll and Financial subsystems components of Bi-Tech software. * Responsible for transferring data maintained on previous systems to the Bi-tec h system. * Develop the chart of the accounts assuring all the features of the software op erate in a correct manner. Write and update Bi-tech Procedures manual for the f inancial subsystems. Provide training to staff on the human resource, payroll, and financial subsystem. * Serve as a liaison between the business office and personnel services departme nt. Initiate quarterly and annual billings base d on all students who attend center programs. Grand Rapids Public Schools Budget and Accounting Accountant - (Dec 92 to Aug 93 ) * Apply principles of fund accounting to balance funds, reconcile bank statement s, and prepare end of month balancing entries. * Compile and analyze information to prepare work papers adjustments and other f inancial reports. * Assist school district personnel by providing accounting information.
