June 2007-May 2010 C&I engineering is the largest Petro/Chemical Engineering firm in the state. Pri marily working in the Petroleum Refinery sector. My job description included fie ld analysis of the upgrades, hand sketches of the design changes prepared in the field, along with implementation of equipment layout drawings. Along with the f ield duties I was responsible for the piping design and interface with existing piping and equipment using ACAD 2006 / 2010 and Micro-Station V8 software. Addit ionally I would supply the client with Plan / Isometric views and detail / secti on views of design upgrade drawings. Extensive research and formatting of the B. O.M. and Specifications prior to the final checking processes of issued for cons truction drawings. I currently carry a T.W.I.C. card valid until August 2014 and have extensive experience working on site in Marathon Refineries in several sta tes. C&I progressively invested a lot of money and effort into training their em ployees in the latest 3-D modeling software. Primarily using Smart Plant 3D and Cad works 3D. Unfortunately the Petroleum Industry has been in an expansion decl ine for quite some time now, and this has had adverse effects upon piping and me chanical designers nationwide. The new year will hopefully show a promising outl ook. KHAFRA ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS Louisville, Ky. June 2000 - 2007 Khafra is an award winning engineering consulting firm that houses all disciplin es of design and project planning. My primary responsibility in this firm is to create and or convert informal sketches of Piping, HVAC, Electrical and Lighting designs into final construction documents utilizing AutoCAD 2005 and other rela ted software. The bulk of my experience is in the wastewater / groundwater treat ment industry. Equipment specifications and required building code upgrades are also implemented within my design task. I was also responsible for corresponding with other engineering / architectural firms on multi-disciplined projects. Pro jection of design / construction completion deadlines, extracting critical field data for use in the preliminary design reports, services during construction an d final inspections are also required task. NEELCO ALUMINUM Crestwood, KY January 1990 - May 2000 As a principal partner of Neelco, a residential construction and improvements fi rm, I was responsible for the administrative and management tasks assigned to my division. This includes marketing, sales, design, quality control, estimating a nd cost management. I was also responsible for implementing and ensuring the com pletion of the daily work schedules. Responsible for continuously striving to fi nd new techniques to improve the company's reputation. I was able to bring proje cts to a successful completion by staying on schedule and within budget. Special efforts and detailed workmanship were consistently applied to maintain a superi or rating of customer satisfaction. GENERAL ELECTRIC APPLIANCE PARK May 1988 - January 1990 As the Engineering Support Technician for refrigeration products, I was the liai son between the engineering departments, product development teams and the facil ities maintenance and production teams. My primary responsibilities included des ign support and creation of a technical specification manual, project management , quality control, and time study analysis. One of the primary initiatives was t he automation and redesign of an existing production line. Successfully implemen ted, this project increased efficiency and productivity for the company. Additio nally, I supervised 85 employees on this assembly line that was responsible for the production of refrigeration components.

Spe cialized training eventually resulted in my being promoted to the position of Ma intenance Manager for entire Headquarters Company. Honorably discharged with ran k of E-5 in 1986.
