CAREER EXPERIENCE Flos USA, Inc. Huntington Station, New York (3/99-2/11) Operations Manager- Responsible for the daily operations of a 40,000 square foot facility which produced over $12 Million in annual revenues. Direct responsibil ity of warehouse with direct supervision of one production supervisor, two lead personnel and 15 dock workers. Supervision of one traffic agent with responsibil ities ranging from truck scheduling to delivery appointments/follow-up to transp ortation freight quoting. Supported Customer Service Manager with difficult clie nt base. Negotiated transportation rates with LTL and small package carriers. FedEx Ground Garden City, New York (1/88-11/98) Terminal Manager- Oversaw the daily operations of an $18 Million facility handli ng approximately 14,000 shipments per day. Direct responsibility of terminal's P &L; managed staff of 2 managers, 7 supervisors, 3 account representatives, 35 dr ivers and 40 dock workers. Hired, trained and evaluated all exempt and non-exemp t personnel; contracted outside vendors to perform quality service; ensured comp liance with all OSHA regulations and adherence to budget guidelines.
