I gave student e valuations and recommended dismissal from the program as appropriate. I p rovided academic counseling to students concerning the continuance of their education through the 2-year program. I observed the clinical rotations and set up the students clinical experiences in the appropriate areas at the hospital, ambul ance service and other areas. American Family Insurance, Indianapolis, IN 3/2000 3/2002 Legal Nurse Consultant, American Family Insurance As a Legal Nurse Consultant, my responsibilities were working wi th claims and Legal personnel in preparing complex reviews of personal injury and Workmans compensation cases. I also consulted on high damage claims, helped develop a consultant base, and provi ded specialized training to colleagues, agents, providers, and attorneys regarding cost containment. There was a considerable amou nt research completed for each case. The other tasks were se lecting expert witnesses, prepared medical questions for depositio ns, summarizing depositions, and summarizing Independent Medic al Examinations.

I was called upon the needs from various hospitals for 5 weeks to 6 months or more at a time . My experience was in Emergency Dept.
