Introduction

Northamptonshire Sport is responsible for the future development of sport in

our community. Northamptonshire Sport brings together a range of different
organisations involved in the delivery of sport across the county.

All of the organisations involved including schools, clubs, local Governing

Bodies, disability groups, Police, Health Authority, Sport England, universities
and colleges, all Local Authorities to mention just a few have signed up to a
concise mission statement.

Sponsorship Opportunity

By sponsoring Northamptonshire Sport your company will secure on-going

exposure throughout the county. Full benefits are highlighted below.

Any funds Northamptonshire Sport secure will increase the range and quality
of sport, physical activity and recreation on offer.
Your company will help us provide a range of additional sport related services
in Northamptonshire.

• Your company will assist Northamptonshire Sport improve and increase

the number of opportunities for young, talented athletes and young
people wishing to get more involved in sport.
• You will assist the development of a range of sports courses for boys
and girls in Northamptonshire.
• Northamptonshire Sport will be able to provide more qualified coaches
with additional training and workshops to improve safety, skills and
awareness.
• Northamptonshire Sport will be able to support and train new people to
become coaches, officials and volunteers developing a strong sense of

Northamptonshire Youth Games

• Your company will be associated with the largest multi-sport

competition in Northamptonshire for young people
• Your company will be associated with a national Sport England
initiative helping to develop the sporting stars of tomorrow and greater
participation in sport and fitness throughout the county
• In excess of 600 children attend on the day with many more involved in
trials prior to the day
• Over 150 officials helping to coordinate on the day
• Your company logo can appear on promotional brochures, banners,
programmes, leaflets, t-shirts and merchandise
 • Your company will benefit from publicity and coverage in local media in
the lead up to and after the event
• The opportunity to invite guests to the VIP event with attendance from
local dignitaries like the local Mayor, politicians, sports professionals
etc
• The opportunity to display promotional material and include handouts
in packs for each participant and spectators
• The option to give a speech at the opening or closing ceremony and to
distribute medals

Sportsmatch is a government funded scheme that matches £ for £

commercial business sponsorship for a grass roots sporting event or activity.
Making any sponsorship you provide go twice as far.
