Managed capital projects including new construction, renovations and equipment installation ranging from $5,000 to $5 million. RESULTS: In-house management led to decreased costs on critical cap ital projects. *h Managed all maintenance operations and equipment installation for a high dema nd food processing facility. Led three supervisors and staff of 23 mechanics. De signed and built equipment from a specialized fabrication shop. RESULTS: Compreh ensive maintenance program facilitated consistency in production operations. *h Instituted historical tracking of machine failures to proactively maintain an d repair machinery before catastrophic failures. Tracked all preventative mainte nance, emergency repairs, and routine maintenance with controls in place. RESULT S: Increased machinery runtime by nine minutes per ten-hour shift, generating an nual savings of $1.7 million. *h Researched and managed installation of a waste heat recovery system to reduce energy required to produce 12 million gallons of hot water monthly. RESULTS: Ne w system allowed 98% of energy required to be generated from waste heat, reducin g costs by $750,000 annually. *h Expanded production capabilities of a high volume manufacturing facility. Ana lyzed existing production on three lines and coordinated design, layout and cons truction of two additional lines. RESULTS: Completed $5 million project under bu dget and one month ahead of proposed schedule, allowing early start-up of produc tion increases. *h Remodeled and expanded an existing facility. Planned and supervised removal o f all existing production equipment, relocation and addition of utilities and in stallation of five production lines. RESULTS: Realized savings of $1.3 million o n $6.9 million budget and completed installations in 11 days, minimizing lost re venue. Facilitated introduction of new products to market ahead of schedule. *h Collaborated on project to research, select, design and install automatic wei ghing and packaging equipment for food products. Planned and managed installatio n of 50 systems. RESULTS: Reduction of labor and weighing inaccuracies generated $862,067 in cost savings per system with a 3.9 month return on investment. Tota l savings: $43 million. *h Managed capital projects valued up to $8 million for a $28.4 billion food pro

cessing company. Completed multiple projects from ground up including building d esign, construction, and installation of process lines. Made innovative equipmen t purchases. Traveled to 63 plants in 11 states and four international locations to evaluate equipment, and additional production opportunities. Extensive invol vement in ammonia refrigeration projects.
