2. DATA COLLECTION AND DAILY WORK PROCESS Data collection based on report from cell doctor in Nokia OSS as report details below: 226: EGPRS KPIs report on daily basis 280: DAP performance report on hourly basis 243: Frame delay report on hourly basis 051: GPRS parameters report on daily basis Other reports depend on setting in the network such as GPRS QoS statistics.

Daily work process as details below: Data collection: OSO Daily GPRS, 226 on BSC level, 226 on cell level, 051 reports. Update 226 statistics and basic parameters review on 051. Get top worst cell on major indicators in 226 or depends on Hutch UPW KPIs. Analysis and take action as details in next items.

3. HUTCH UPW KPIS MONITORING 3.1 EDGE DL Throughput per TBF For cell level analyse on 226report by checking as below:
Average DL TBF per TSL (tbf_38c) DL Effected thruput per TSL (trf_73g) If this value to near 1 TSL or higher check with CDED setting and %TCH congestion If this value is lower than 20 kbps check %of GPRS sharing, EDAP size, %coverage and RxQual on GTRX.

3.2 GPRS DL Throughput per TBF For cell level analyse on 226report by checking as below:
Average DL TBF per TSL (tbf_38c) DL total thruput per TSL (trf_90a) If this value to near 1 TSL or higher check with CDED setting and %TCH congestion If this value is lower than 10 kbps check %of GPRS sharing, %coverage and RxQual on GTRX.

3.3 TBF Ssuccess Rate For cell level analyse on 226report by checking as below:
TBF success rate (tbf_34) If this value lower than 93% check TCH assign success rate in voice and UL GPRS power control parameters setting.

3.4 DL Multislot Assignment Success For cell level analyse on 226report by checking as below:
DL TSL allocation (msl_16a) If this value lower than 96% check CDEF setting and %TCH congestion.

4. MAIN KEY INDICATORS IN 226 REPORT 4.1 Multislot Blocking UL This indicator is failures in establishing the UL TBF. This is a critical indicator which directly affects MS. Problems with this indicator can cause situations like GPRS attach failure and MMS sending failure. Normally work in progress for PCU rehoming caused some problems with this indicator. This problem can fix by increasing CDED (dedicated GPRS capacity). Target of this value is 1% 4.2 Multislot Blocking DL This indicator describes the failure to establish DL TBF due to insufficient resources. Target of this value is 1% 4.3 Retainability This normally very closely related to RF performance of the network. This indicator is included of UL and DL TBF success rate. The UL TBF success rate can improve by setting GPRS uplink power control parameters and also SGSN performance. The DL TBF success rate can improve from RF performance of the network such as frequency planning, reducing interference on TRX basis, etc. Target of this value is 93% 4.4 Multislot Allocation UL This indicator describes the ability of network serving data timeslot request from MS on UL. Target of this value is 99% 4.5 Multislot Allocation DL This indicator describes the ability of network responding to data timeslot demand from MS on DL. This indicator can improve by setting CDEF. Target of this value is 96% 4.6 Territory Upgrade Reject It describes the failure of BSS to dynamically allocate additional timeslots for data. This indicator is affected by CS traffic, PCU congestion or limited territory size. Target of this value is 5%
