Q1: Lisas TED Talk: How entrepreneurial women in India are using technology to solve developing world problems

Definition: 3 week trip to India where Lisa interviews 4 women with Shilpi filming it SUCCESS METRICS: Quantifiable: Primary: 50,000 page views on HuffPost Secondary : Fundraising goal (via Global Fund for Women) Qualitative: Engage current network including 10 key influencers Lay Foundation for TED talk on What Can Digital Marketing do to Amplify Change in Developing Countries? Aka Global Citizenry Brand yourself as someone who does cool project and marketing/developing country guru (inspired, show diversity of what women are doing) Assignments: - Think about impact you want to have STEPS: 1) HUFFPO: Understand how to amplify/launch series on HuffPo a. Meet with Brian head of HuffPo b. Meet with Neil Katz 2) OTHER PLATFORMS: a. Short documentary film festivals 3) CONTENT a. REFINE MISSION STATEMENT: How entrepreneurial women in India are using technology to solve developing world problems i. Communicate impact that the women would like to have b. FORMAT: Work with Shilpi to determine the format of the videos i. Research examples 1. Take notes on script (good questions, transitions, narrative arc, anything you DON'T like, pay attention to point/message) ii. Finalize format with Shilpi 1. Schedule & plan out B-Roll opportunities c. SECURING SUBJECTS: Identify 6 women for larger interviews (and 2 additional in Delhi for supplemental footage) i. Timeline: 1. 3 secured by Jan 31 ii. Define selection criteria: 1. Different regions 2. Different areas i.e. education, human rights, corruption, rural health 3. Ask them what they want to say to an audience of 2 million Americans? What impact would they like to have? d. CONTENT PREP: i. Write script for whole project 1. Questions to send ahead of time a. Final questions you will ask 2. Storyboard with scenes a. Checklist with B roll locations/shots 3. Topics you want them to discuss

ii. Write article template for each woman 1. Introduction/context for project 2. Call to action (why you care, what you're going to donate to) 3. Info about the woman iii. Identify 2 potential startup ideas (or existing startups to target)- Technologies that Solve Developing World Problems o Blog response about all the things youre reaching (interview people) maybe on HuffPost Finish a draft of my memoir

Q4: Either attend B School Or secure job at a startup or create a startup or a company that is working in social tech in developing world Year End Goals: - India Project completed - Blog with India Project and research on tech in developing countries blogs

Relationships with 5 influencers A new job or Bschool (or you can launch a start-up AND go to B school) Two speaking opportunities (video taped so Q1 of 2013 you pitch it to TED) And a draft a memoirpublish memoir in some interesting way
