multiple times.

middle in Flames.

23. A Serpent with the Head of a Lion, enthroned within a

26. An Hare, inscribing upon a Tablet with a golden Stylus.
27. A Corn Queen.
28. A Merchant, asleep, beset by Apes.
29. Five Imps, cavorting beneath the Sun.
30. A Key, Horned.
31. A Waggon Wheel missing a Spoke.
32. A Mirror reflecting a single Grape on an otherwise
empty bunch.
33. The same Mirror, broken.

Mouth.
35. A charred Dove, burned, clutching a Lock in its Beak.
36. An empty Boot with six Holes in the front.
37. An Oak in which a Kettle sits near the top.
38. A Youth, weeping in a Field in the Night.
39. A Parchment upon which is Drawn a small Chalice.
40. A Cave with Water dripping from the ceiling, in which
can be seen an Ear.
41. An empty Chariot, burnt, beneath a Sea.
42. A Great Fire, above which flies a Banner.
43. A Mound of Shells.
44. A Room, empty except for a single Feather.
45. A Toad bearing a Cross.
46. The Sun and Moon as One Thing.

The Aeons scattered these Signs amongst the Archons, who,


arranging them found in them the Roots of All Things. The
Person who discerns the Nature of these Signs through the
Combination and Division Thereof shall Know the answers to
all things on Earth and in Heaven.
