INTRODUCTION
The book that you have purchased was conceived and compiled by the Invictus Mastermind
Group, a body formed by its members to harness the collective power of the “master
alliance” principle discussed in Napoleon Hill’s renowned work, Think and Grow Rich. The
group’s members became acquainted with each other on the unitedplayersofamerica.com’s
forum, an internet message board created by Tariq “King Flex” Nasheed for the readers of
his bestselling books. While posting on various topics on the message board, many members
routinely included inspirational quotations from a myriad of sources within their individual
posts. Over time, many new members to the board requested quotes and inspirational words
to aid them in efforts to “upgrade” their “game”. This text is the answer to that call.

The quotations contained within have affected many of us individually, so we decided to

compile a list of relevant quotes that relate to the “mackish” lifestyle that we live and to
which many aspire. An extensive search was conducted for quotations that relate to the
following topics: Attitude, Leadership, Money, and Relationships & Marriage. As there are
fifty-two (52) weeks in a year, each section contains a minimum of fifty-two (52) quotations.
This format offers the reader at least one quote per section for each week of the year. Some
sections contain a bit more as these areas are the foundation upon which one’s “swagger” is
built.

First, the reader is presented with quotations relating to Attitude, as a positive attitude toward
one’s endeavors is essential to being successful in those matters. Next, quotations dealing
with Leadership appear, as a true “Mack” must thoroughly understand this concept if he
expects others to follow him. Quotations regarding Money appear in the subsequent section,
as every man of means should have an intimate knowledge of how to acquire wealth and
maintain it once it is within his grasp; accordingly, the quotes contained herein are meant to
inspire and guide the reader in the pursuit of these goals. Last, as today’s urban, renaissance
man ultimately strives to find a suitable mate with whom to share his success, the
Relationships & Marriage section was included to give the reader some direction in this
regard; it contains wisdom for those who desire to marry, as well as those seeking to
maintain a marriage.

This text is not meant to be a one-time read. Instead, it is meant to be reviewed on a

continual basis, as one’s experiences will give new meaning and relevance to the quotes
found in each section. We trust that by reading and internalizing the timeless wisdom
distilled within the pages to follow, this volume will prove to be an invaluable, motivational
resource as you seek to master your fate, and make your dreams become reality.

52) The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important
than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than
failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than
appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The
remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We
cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is
our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so
it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes. ~ Charles R. Swindoll
