What We Do

Orphan Wine Organization (OWO) nurtures the well-being, development, and hidden potential of abandoned and orphaned children by giving proceeds derived from the auction of small lots of undesignated wines to non-profits working directly with orphans. OWO partners with ministries and nonprofits that are providing for the needs of orphaned and abandoned children with excellence - our Intersect Partners. OWO gives funds to our Intersect Partners to fund specific, orphan care projects. The work of Orphan Wine Organization is to Vet orphan care organizations and projects Raise and distribute money Monitor and report results Our impact is to help our Intersect Partners go farther and move faster in achieving their mission.

How It Works
We leverage our contacts within the wine industry to bring undesignated wine (a.k.a, orphan wine) to auction and sale to wine enthusiasts. Partner Wineries donate small lots of their own wine that has not been designated to a particular release or blending program. OWO makes these scarce wines available to wine enthusiasts at four to five highly-advertised wine auctions held around the United States, donating the proceeds to our Intersect Partners.

Why We Do It
First and foremost, we are people called by God to care for these children with the talents and resources He has given us. There is a growing orphan crisis in our world today. Estimates of orphaned/abandoned children worldwide are upwards of 100 million. We believe that every orphaned child is a hidden treasure, waiting to be discovered and appreciated. We have immense respect and deep admiration for workers who sacrifice much to ensure that these children are not discarded. We desire to help fund their efforts, from the basics of food and clothing to educational and career programs.
