Methodology

We use application/solution-oriented approach when developing course materials and NOT featuresoriented approach like many other training vendors are using. Materials based on application/solutionoriented approach enables course participants to identify most important and workable part of a technology to be implemented to their own needs. Course participants are not to memorize list of features, but to understand the core and fundamental concept of it.

Each course is given in a balanced composition between concept/theory and hands-on or workshop. With this balanced composition course participants will be able to understand the given topics better. Workshop or hands-on training is given through guided hands-on or case study. In guided handson, course participants are guided within each problem solving steps, whereas in case study, each course participants are encouraged to solve the given problem using their own way and creativity.

Instructors and Consultants

Combination of skills, experiences, knowledge in IT and mastering teaching methodology are standard requirement for all instructors. Therefore it is obvious that our instructors are one of our core competences. Currently we have more 25 permanent instructors and another 10 replacement instructors who are field experts from other division. For unique or specific training topics such as telecommunication, satellite transmission or vendorspecific technology, we work with pool of qualified associate trainers and consultants. COMPANY BACKGROUND
Inixindo was established on Juli 15th, 1991, at the same time with the increase of Open Systems popularity in the 90s. Started with the visionary of Inixindo founder, Ifik Arifin, a graduate of Computer Science from University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, who predicted that IT market will dominate by Open Systems and Internet. Inixindo was established with the resourceful support of many different platforms, starting from UNIX, Windows, and then UNIX version from IBM AIX to SUN Microsystems Solaris, and also Linux Operating Systems. In 1995, when internet starting to become an important connection tool in communication, the development of computer programming, User Interface Design, databases access and everything that has to do with Information Technology, Inixindo also has developed their technical resources in all of the field mentioned earlier. In 1998, Inixindo has been trusted by Cisco Systems to become an Authorized Learning Partner for Indonesia region. Since July 1999, Inixindo has officially appointed as Sylvans Authorized Prometrics Testing Center (APTC) in Indonesia. Inixindo becomes an official Testing Certification service provider in Information Technology. Test Materials can be taken through APTC which is very useful for 6 test materials for MCSE certification, 4 test materials for OCP certification, 1 test material for CCNA and CCDA certification, 1 test material for SCO ACE cer tification, and many other test materials.
