LIMITATIONS

Do not apply when ambient temperature is below 45F. For ease of application, maintain a material temperature at greater than 70F. Do not use damaged insulation boards (e.g. warped, curled, broken, etc.). Insulation boards must lay flat on the roof surface. Bonding surface must be even to ensure positive contact with the insulation board. Do not use with extruded polystyrene, expanded polystyrene, phenolic or cellular glass insulation. Do not adhere directly to wood, poured-in-place gypsum or lightweight concrete decks. Do not apply to wet surfaces. Insulation boards should not be larger than 4 x 4. A primer may be needed on some substrates. Care must be taken to ensure that product vapors do not enter ventilation systems.

PRODUCT STORAGE Keep product in range of 70F.

SURFACE PREPARATION Substrate surface must be clean, dry, free of oil, dirt, dust, debris or any other materials which may result in an unacceptable bonding surface. PRODUCT PREPARATION No mixing is required. If a skin is formed on the product, remove and use material underneath. COLD WEATHER APPLICATION Do not apply below 45 F. Keep material warm by whatever safe methods are available. Storage in warm areas before use is recommended. PRIMING Certain substrates must be primed with ARS-Asphalt Primer and allowed to dry thoroughly. When applying multiple layers of insulation, the previous insulation course does not require priming. PRODUCT APPLICATION Apply ARS-INSUL-BOND to the insulation or substrate using a ribbon pattern of 12 34 diameter 12 on center. Immediately place insulation board into wet adhesive. Step board in. Do not allow adhesive to skin before placing the insulation. Stagger joints of insulation layers as specified. CLEANUP Use Xylene.
