BioFach Presentation of PeruBiodiverso Project

1. Trade Fair Booth: The booth has been located in Hall 2 with many other international exhibitors, also from Latin America such as Chile, Mexico and Brazil. PeruBiodiverso (PBD) has been co-exhibitor at the Promper booth.

2. PBD booth: Materials used have been business cards form companies, product flyers and the remaining catalogues which have been stored at Organic Services and SIPPO. Unfortunately, product samples prepared for the exhibition could not be delivered for unclear reasons. We have prepared 4 persons to care for the PBD booth round the clock on all 4 days. In case of questions meetings with Udo Censkowsky have been organized. 3. Natural Cosmetics: Targeted Raw Material Sourcing: Gaston Vizcarra (Candela) gave a lecture in a seminar as part of Vivaness Forum. As the only exhibitor from affiliated PDB companies it was good to have him presenting also the PDB project besides his own work. 4. Concrete Business Results: Of course, it is always better to have the companies at the booth and not an intermediate organization. However, we have 39 concrete product request. Please, find the contacts and their requests attached in the excel file. Peruvian companies can now directly contact potential buyers. Not all request are covering our 5 target products but as PBD is going to broaden range of products this is oaky. 5. Other results: Besides companies interested in buying products from Peru some other contacts have been made not all are qualified or worthful but I do not want to decide: a) Mrs. Rebekka Pohl rpohl@uni-hohenheim.de is looking for an organic certifier active in the Amazonian region and potentially in a trade partner for cocoa and honey. b) Eugen Bruder eugen.bruder@t-online.de supports an NGO/project in Peru which might be interesting for PBD www.peru-amazonico.de c) Amadeus Rivas kundenservice@casamar-reisen.de is interested to promote the PDB products in Germany d) Klaus Jongebloed k.jongebloed@neue-oz.de is journalist and interested in PBD project. e) Petra Langen, langenp@messe-duesseldorf.de is looking for organic Pisco Saur for a specific show in Dsseldorf (with Cachaca etc). f) M. Arun Kumar, arun@ipmbio.com is looking for distribution partner of for 1 Udo Censkowsky, PeruBiodiverso Project

Carlos Jaime Montoya Montero (II. Secretary Peruvian Embassy in Germany) has been at the booth and offered his assistance in case of any need.
