COMPANY PROFILE Insight Title Company, LLC is a full service title agency headquartered in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Insight Title serves a diverse array of clients, with a fully integrated Default-Services Division, Bankers & Lenders Title, handling foreclosure & REO transactions; our Retail Division with a special focus on the St. Louis metropolitan area, and a strong Commercial Division handling a wide range of commercial transactions across the region. Originally opened in 2000 as a default-services title agency specializing in foreclosure reports & REO transactions under the name Bankers & Lenders Title, LLC, Insight Title has since grown into one of the larger title agencies in the St. Louis region, with nearly 60 employees in its Creve Coeur location. With offices in Kansas and Missouri, BLT serves the greater Midwest region and is authorized to issue title insurance policies in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska & Illinois. Wesley T. Kozeny Wesley T. Kozeny is a co-owner of Insight Title Company, LLC and principal of Kozeny & McCubbin, L.C. He received his BA and JD from Saint Louis University. Mr. Kozeny has a distinguished career representing the mortgage banking industry in the areas of creditor's rights, title litigation, foreclosures, bankruptcy, evictions, condemnation, and mechanic's liens. Mr. Kozeny has also provided representation for commercial real estate buyers, sellers, lenders, and developers in transactional, title, and landlord-tenant matters. Mr. Kozeny is a member of the Missouri Bar, Illinois Bar, Nebraska Bar, Iowa Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, U.S. District Court for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, U.S. District Court for the Districts of Northern and Southern Iowa and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska. Garry McCubbin Garry McCubbin is also a co-owner of Insight Title Company, LLC and principal of Kozeny & McCubbin, L.C. He received his BA from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and JD from Washburn University. Mr. McCubbin has over twenty years of experience in real estate law and mortgage banking law. Prior to forming Kozeny & McCubbin, L.C, he served as a judicial clerk with the Kansas Court of Appeals and as Counsel for the Federal Land Bank of St. Louis. Mr. McCubbin is a member of the Kansas Bar, Missouri Bar, Iowa Bar, Nebraska Bar, U.S. District Court for the Districts of Kansas, Nebraska, Eastern District of Missouri, Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa, and the U.S. Supreme Court. John T. Banjak John T. Banjak is President and General Counsel of Insight Title Company, LLC. Mr. Banjak earned his B.S. degree in Finance from Indiana University and his J.D. degree from Washington University. He previously worked as president and general counsel for two title agencies, and as regional underwriting counsel for a national title insurance underwriter. Prior to entering the title insurance field, Mr. Banjak worked as a private attorney and as an assistant attorney general for the state of Missouri from 1993 to 1996. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri and is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Mr. Banjak currently serves as a trustee board member for Boys and Girls Town of Missouri and as a member of the Citizens Finance Committee for the city of Kirkwood. John Duckworth is the Executive Vice President and Director of Operations of Insight Title Company, LLC. He received a BS in Marketing and BA in Spanish from the University of Missouri. In addition to his regular duties at Insight Title, Mr. Duckworth is a member of both the Kansas Land Title Association & Missouri Land Title Association's Education Committees, a regular instructor at the Missouri Land Title Institute and has participated in the creation of the Missouri Title Certification Program. Mr. Duckworth is also penned the Study Guide for the Missouri Department of Insurance Title Insurance Producer's Examination in 2008, which has become the accepted study guide for new title professionals across the state of Missouri. Prior to joining Insight Title, Mr. Duckworth served as an Examiner and Policy Department Manager for a local title company where he helped push the firm into the top 4% of all agencies of a top national title insurance underwriter, as determined by remittance volume. Prior to his beginnings in the title industry, Mr. Duckworth worked in Prague, Czech Republic as a Global Networking Consultant for a venture capital firm. In that position, he helped locate start-up software firms for investment, and manage these firms' entries into foreign markets around the world. Erika M. Knapstein Erika M. Knapstein is an associate attorney for Insight Title Company, LLC and has over 6 years of experience in the title industry. In addition to previously serving as counsel for a St. Louis area title agent, her legal experience includes creditors rights, commercial real estate transactions, business litigation, general corporate law and land use law. Erika has lectured on the topics of title insurance and title examination. Erika received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree from Saint Louis University in 1997 and her Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2000. She is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas and the U.S. District Court of Kansas.
