MY ANALYSIS
Charts, printed materials, cut out pictures are properly arranged by each place. Since there was no guidelines and procedures, but still teachers and students can use and easy access to the materials because these are free from dust moisture, arranged by each type and easy to get by the learners Teachers can easily find and identify what will be the materials they will use in teaching because of the good and attractive arrangement of the resources. The learning resources are arranged properly according to their functions and characteristics. The learning resources or materials are easy to find because they are properly arranged by each subject areas. The resources/materials are very useful and reusable in teaching and learning process that could make the interaction more interactive and effective. Having these instructional materials can help to motivate students to become more knowledgeable.

MY REFLECTIONS
Among the materials in the Learning Resource Center caught my interest the most are the printed materials like puzzles and magazines. I chose puzzle because it is very interesting and I love solving puzzles. The materials that I already confident to use are the books because it widen my knowledge and since elementary, we are already using books as our reference in learning. Charts are often used to ease understanding of large quantities of data and the relationships between parts of the data which I am already confident to use.

MY PORTFOLIO
Presentations using projectors and computers can increase the attendance and interest levels at meetings, church services and other functions. They have been even become popular at social events such as weddings, birthday parties, and funerals. Source:

The gadget/materials that I wanted to learn more about are the projector and computer because it enhance the interests of the students in participating and listening during class discussions. Although it is difficult to assess the effectiveness of any educational system, numerous studies have reported that CAI is successful in raising examination scores, improving student attitudes, and lowering the amount of time required to master certain material. While study results vary greatly, there is substantial evidence that CAI can enhance learning at all educational levels.

Name of the School Observed: San Carlos College (High School Department) Location of the School: Mabini St. San Carlos City, Pangasinan Date of Visit: January 16, 2012 When I went around the school, I saw some board displays that are attractive and colorful. They posted the board displays at the center where the targets can easily see them. Subjects that are related to the board displays and its contents are biology, math and social studies. English was also included. They posted some sayings given by different personages. Different colors were posted and pictures. Most of the images are pictures of the students and colors that are mostly seen are green, blue and red. Materials that are mostly used in making the displays are cartolinas and Styrofoam. Borders are also used by emphasizing certain words. I didnt notice any errors in the board displays. Messages were clearly printed, understandable and legible.

MY ANALYSIS
The purpose of bulletin board is to update every students regarding certain informations or announcements within the campus. Furthermore, its main purpose is to inform every students why a certain announcement is implemented. The language used was clear and simple for the target audience to understand because it has no corrections in grammar and was clearly written or printed. It could also add beauty and set the social, psychological atmosphere of the school. It can encourage students to perform better and have greater confidence. The bulletib board display must be done creatively and informative because good displays reflect the efforts exerted by each concerned teacher. Bulletin board should be attractive, balance, interactive, balance, interactive, durable and can hold the interests of the students to participate in school activities. Every bulletin board should be regularly update that can caught the interest of the students.

Board Title: Teacher Appreciation Day Rationale: For general information. Objectives: To appreciate the essence of a teacher. To learn more about quality teaching. To know the nature of teaching. Best features of my proposed bulletin enhancement: The best feature of my proposed bulletin board is I will put a white cartolina as the background. I chose white so that any color will fit on the board display. The title of the board will be cut out letters which is the Teaching, Influence, Appreciate, Make Difference and put it at the center.

Nature of Teaching: 1) Personal qualities like intelligence, motivation, diligence, creativity, discipline, organization, inter-personal skills, work ethic, etc.; 2) knowledge and skills related to the job; and 3) the nature of the organization in which they work. Materials for aesthetic enhancement: I will use printed resources, cartolina, and other colored paper for the aesthetic enhancement of my board display.

MY REFLECTIONS
The skills that a teacher has to be able to come up with effective board displays are creative and visuals skills that they must be able to visualize the presentation and impact they want to create, then apply those to the display. Teachers know that words combined with visual content can often communicate more than words alone. A teacher should be resourceful so that what she plans will be realized by just using available resources presents in the school. As well, the teacher must be a good communicator. Lastly, good teachers make visual displays part of the lesson plan. Displays or decorated bulletin boards are not just to make the room pretty. A good teacher can use one display to help students build many different skills.

When I experienced to make a bulletin board displays, I can say that I am slightly creative and resourceful. In order for me improve these skills; I must plan first and follow steps before decorating a board display. I will make a small sketch of where everything will go. Lay it out first before I will glue anything down to make it looks good. Design what the center of my board will be because this is everyone will look first. When setting up board, put things together in an order to make sense.

When I observed the 2nd year Gold students, their topic is all about the Scientific Notation. The teacher let the students to solve the problem in the scratch and later he will call who want to solve the problem. The teachers allow also students to answer his question in chorus and sometimes he call the students to who raised their hands. He also used the teaching strategy of Inductive Method, which he introduced first the examples. He also used the Socratic Method which is question and answer method. After the discussion, the teacher immediately gives a quiz. The quiz is dictation, he dictates the problem and the students wrote down, and give the students to a time to solve the problems. He gave five items which is good for five minutes. After quiz, the teacher gives assignment about the topic, Scientific Notation.

Comments in Appropriateness of the Teaching Aids used Books are very useful to the students in order for them to learn a lot but it is much better if the teacher let her student not to depend on what they are reading. They must have to understand it.

All the students involve in the reading process since everyone has a book. They read their topics through its readable letter and construction of words.

Some students depend on the book. They just only read without comprehension.

Blackboard and Chalkboard

This is attractive because of its color and is enough to use by the teacher and the learners.

MY ANALYSIS

The teacher chose the books as their learning materials because he wanted all of the students to participate in the class discussion. Books serve as the guide and support to the students learning. As the students participated in the discussion, the teacher supplements their opinions/ ideas. The difficulties experienced by the teacher in teaching those topics were the different behaviors that his students possessed. Since most of the students have short span of attention. But still, she was able to manage them through his way of awakening the students by surprisingly calling the name that doesnt pay attention. The learning resources/ materials used slightly effective because only few learners have difficulties in understanding the topic.

MY REFLECTIONS
If I were the teacher, I would also first motivate my students by giving some anecdotes could also help to set the moods of the students. Giving lectures will be the next. students.

In teaching the same topic, I would also use books and other instructional materials. I materials. like use books because it is informative and could widen the knowledge of the students. In giving activities to them would be different from what the teacher did. I will let them have a pair and give them different seatwork in order to know if everyone are learning. Cheating or copying from seatmate will be avoided.

The learning resource center of the school that I have visited is equipped with most of the necessary materials to support the teachers and students in the quest for information and facts needed for classroom discussions. Our topic will be Body Systems and some of the materials that store in the learning resource center are related to our topic. These are appropriate to use for the 2nd year students. The visual aids, pictures and books will surely help and facilitate learnings to the students. I can also make other resources like cut outs, charts and illustration to give more some additional information to the students. In terms of teaching and learning process, the teacher must know how to use and present it to the students the learning tools/materials effectively.

MY ANALYSIS

Surveying available materials improves your motivation in making creative teaching aids for your discussion. In such a way, teaching aids support and facilitate learnings to the students. Based on what materials I have observed, I was able to provide

enhancements in my own materials so that the students will tend to be more interested in the topic. An attractive and innovative learning tool is always better to use than conventional ones. It allows you to save some time, money, and effort. If the materials you need are readily available at the resource centers, it is wiser to borrow them rather than making one which requires more resources .Conducting a survey also broadens your idea about the kinds of materials which has been already used by past educators and it helps you decide what activities to be included depending upon the available resources suited to your specific topic.

MY REFLECTIONS

Of all materials, that I really like is making charts and illustrations using paper and other supplies because in this I can enhance my creativity and resourcefulness to catch the attention of my students. I usually encountered problems deciding on what materials I am going to use in making an illustration. In order to solve this problem, I make a list of all possible materials that are really suited to my topic. Although it is difficult to make an instructional material, I still gave all my best in doing it because I was thinking of my students sake. In order for them to learn, my materials should not only attractive but the content is informative. The tips that I can give to teachers regarding in the preparation of teaching materials is they should bear many things in mind before preparing a teaching material like knowledge about the topic, availability of materials and appropriateness of the tool to the topic you wish to discuss. The teacher should plan ahead of time. This gives the teacher ample time in making the necessary preparations prior to actual making of the teaching material. Materials should be professionally presented.

MY ANALYSIS
The good features of a handout must have a topic that is easily recognized, a clear layout, presence of subtitles, diagrams and illustrations, keywords in bold or italic and all important information are present and understandable. My handout has a good title. The

layout is clear and outline is presented in bullet form, though some parts are narrative like the description, to maximize explanation. Subtitles are present to make reading and understanding easier. Diagrams and illustrations provide clearer presentation of the topic. I know that my handout is still need to improve because of some features that were not present. All the important information was not included and I only chose the facts that are easy to understand.

MY REFLECTIONS
Making a handout is not easy because you have to think wisely for you to come up with an effective and better output. The difficult part in making an effective handout is in the order of the presentation of the topic, for you have to make a lot of considerations to ensure

that the target students of the handout not only gain learning but also maximum attention and interest. Ive got difficulty also in selecting graphic organizer to be used that is best suited to my topic, as well as, the preparation of hand- out because it was time- consuming. In preparation of hand- outs the teacher should decide what topic to be discussed. After deciding, the teacher should choose what graphic organizer is best suited to the topic. The teacher should be flexible in meeting the needs of the learners since learners have multiple intelligences and varied learning styles. The hand- out must short yet informative.

MY ANALYSIS
The good features of a slide presentation are the text can be seen in a good distance. Ive used background and graphics that are not bright. I made it simple, clear and understandable.

Ive also add some charts and pictures to be my presentation effective. By means of power point presentation your students listen attentively to the discussion. The features that are present in the slide presentation Ive made were I make sure that the text Ive was readable in a good distance. Ive also used bright color background and dark fonts. I included also chart for real world application. Ive also connect my lesson to their daily life routine. I think all features are present in the slide presentation Ive made. I consider the abilities and interest of the learner. I know some students hated math because they force to think and analyze. In mathematics there is only one answer. No consideration at all thats why students hate math.

MY REFLECTIONS
I have a lot of difficulties Ive encountered like time consuming and spent a lot time to organize it. While making

power point presentation I tried my best to make it beautiful and presentable. My patience was tested and creativity in making this presentation. Ive also consider the interest of the students so that they can appreciate mathematics problem. After preparing this presentation Ive already imagined what the effect to the learner is.

MY REFLECTIONS
My experience in surfing the internet for appropriate electronic resources for the class is found quiet difficilt because internet provides everything. All of them are beautiful and easy to teach. Of course when you choose your resources you better choose the best one. The one that help a lot to you and to your students. I choose electronic resources which are efficient and effective. Ive considered the ability and interest of the learners. You must also consider the quality of that resources. In a classroom setting there are two kinds of learner. The fast and slow learner. You must consider what their capabilities are. Choose electronic resources that will fit to them. The skills do Ive already have was creating a charts and instructional materials. The skills I would continue to work on to be better at utilizing electronic resources are choosing the best and siuts to the learner. I want them to learn in my teaching strategies and as a mathematics major I want them not to hate math but to love it. I want also make new learning resources that the students trained and help them in a meaningful way
