I had really stubborn but interesting friends in my secondary school days.

One time, on a Friday afternoon after school, one of them, Angela, told me that we would have lessons the next day at school. She said that the physics teacher had fixed a lesson for just a few people who would be representing the school in a physics competition if they passed the test that would follow the lesson. And I was lucky to be one of those chosen for the lesson. I was very happy and came to school early the next day. There were some renovations going on at the school and some art students were doing a sculpture project. I walked to the class. When I got there, I found five of my friends seated in the classroom and there was writing on the board: five questions to be answered in 15 minutes. I had a lot of questions running through my mind: if the teacher had already given the lecture; where he was; when the lesson started But immediately I opened my mouth to speak, Angela told me to keep quiet and write the test. She said that I was very late and I had only eight minutes left to complete the test. I noticed that she was not writing the test. She said that the teacher put her in charge of collecting the test papers as soon as the time was up. I was so confused. But in that confusion, I sat down and wrote the test. Angela allowed me to write for two minutes more before she collected the test papers. We were five who were chosen but only two would represent the school in the competition. Angela then handed us a 2005 physics past question paper to be answered in 2 hours. We were to submit our answer sheets to her when we finished. Everyone else seemed to be in a hurry and they all started right away. I got a sheet of paper and started answering the questions. When it was about 20 minutes till our time was up, two of the students had finished and got up to submit. Few minutes later, the other two got up to submit. Angela told me to hurry up that she was going to submit the sheets to the teacher. I still had about six questions unanswered. I could not just submit my answer sheet like that. So I started writing very fast and hoped I would not make any mistakes. But Angela just walked out leaving only me in the classroom. I had no option but to run after her because if she submitted, the teacher would not collect my answer sheet. Immediately I ran out of the classroom door, a camera flashed in my face and all the girls shouted APRIL FOOL! and burst into laughter. It was then I realised that there was no teacher in the school, none of them wrote the test or the 2 hour question paper and that was April the 1st. Argh!!!
