Terms and Conditions

Between Joyst Youth Exchange International Ltd, a limited liability company duly incorporated under the LAWS of Jamaica with registered offices at 2- 6 Melmac Avenue, Suite 1a, Kingston 5 in the parish of ST. Andrew and Shop 8, Barhams Plaza, North Race Course Road, Mandeville (hereinafter called "JOYST Youth) of the ONE PART and .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ... Whereas Joyst Youth Exchange International requires the cooperation of participants and cosponsors in the execution and success of our programmes. This agreement witnesses the following covenants on the part of (the participant): 1. 2. 3. 4. That Joyst Youth Exchange International Ltd is not responsible for securing employment for me and that I have no right to require, request or demand such unless I have paid the required fee. That the Joyst Youth Exchange International Ltd membership fee is and SEVIS fee is non refundable and non transferable to any person or any other programme. That I will make all relevant payments and submit the required documents by the stated deadlines in order to be eligible to participate. That all programme fees must be submitted with the required documents by the stipulated deadline dates, I waive the right to any refund of such payment in the event of my nonparticipation has been caused by my own failure or neglect to submit the required documents or for any other reason EXCEPT by reason of circumstances in Clauses 5,6 herein. That I may exercise a right to cancel before February 28, less processing fee of $100, BUT that I will be subjected to a penalty fee of 50% if I cancel after that date up until April 1. Also that notice of cancellation must be in writing and submitted to Joyst Youth Exchange International Ltd. I also understand that if I register and pay the program fee after February 28, the cancellation policies will still be applicable up to April 1, 2011. For Internships and Career Placement Training, cancellation after the documents have been submitted and processing carries a penalty of US$250.

6a. I understand that if I decide to cancel after the DS2019 form is printed, I will NOT be refunded. If an applicant is refused the visa, a fee of US$300 will be deducted from the programme fee. 7. To abide by JOYST's absolute discretion in exercising its right to reject an application which fails to meet program eligibility criteria and /or is not considered to be in the general interest of the organization. If I switch programmes, there will be a US50 non refundable switch fee. To understand and acknowledge that the relevant Embassy or High Commission has the authority to deny or approve the issuance of visa or entry clearance, and to be guided

accordingly. I further understand that in the case of refusal it is my responsibility to obtain the necessary document from the Embassy or High Commission and submit to Joyst Youth Exchange International in order to obtain a refund from Joyst Youth Exchange International. I also understand that in the case of the US program that I will have to wait until Joyst Youth Exchange has been refunded by the co-sponsor before I will receive a refund of the program fee. All travel arrangements MUST be made by and through Joyst Youth Exchange International To attend meetings, pre-departure orientation and post departure orientation where required. To report physically to Joyst Youth Exchange International at the end of the program with my passport or immigration card. To travel with the required amount of funds to the respective host country. To purchase health insurance with respect to participation to any program as directed by Joyst. Youth Exchange International No embassy appointments will be made for any participants until airfare deposit has been paid. No airline tickets will be issued until programme fee is completely paid, also too no reservations will be made without the delivery of the students passport to JOYST from the US/Canadian Embassy. Students will have their visas cancelled if they accepted the job offered and refuse it after visa is granted. Each student will be allotted only one job. If they job is refused, a fee is charged by the sponsor to source another offer. This fee is the students responsibility. Fees are subject changed without prior notice based on sponsors pricing.

Declaration:
This declaration covers the information that I have provided on this form and is also consistent with the information presented to me regarding the JOYST Youth Exchange International Work and Travel programmes, to USA, Canada and any other territories, the programmes terms, conditions and policies governing the organization. I.. Solemnly declare that the aforementioned relating to my foregoing application is duly understood, and I make this declaration conscientiously believing that the information presented is true, complete and correct, and knowing that it carries the same effect as that under oath. I also understand that once this document is signed it forms a binding agreement between me and JOYST Youth Exchange International.
