I See a Generation

I see a generation contorting the Lords will and word Twisting His Truth so convictions never heard A soul no longer sensitive to His probing and whispers Instead its drowned by sexual seduction and lavish liquor

I see a generation so full of selfish ambition Blind leading the blind, full steam ahead No turning back, minds set for spiritual death Will you take a moment and listen

I see a generation ignorant of their ways Bursting with lust, greed, murder, hate, rape Injustice overflowing at the brim, run before its too late Evil pursues those who lie willingly in its wait

I see a generation believing that sex has no boundaries The sanctity of marriage is lost, the number of divorces increase In the presence of God they speak vows, but take it leisurely Consequences ranging from STDs to unwanted pregnancies

I see a generation immersing themselves into sexual immoralities Darkened in their understanding, not just one-nightstands But cant count the number of sexual partners on two hands Not to mention ignoring Gods view on homosexuality

I see a generation proclaiming their hearts rely on Christ Yet they bear no fruit of the Spirit nor shine His purifying light Actions imply they are unrepentant, a hardening of their minds

Merely talking the talk, but never walking as the upright

I see a generation who needs to pursue the Lord wholeheartedly I see a generation in desperate need of the King of Kings I see a generation who needs to let go of the ideology of me I see a generation in desperate need of open heart surgery

You must swallow your shallow pride You must die to yourself, lay everything aside Those are not my words, but the words of Christ He says to repent and follow Him no matter the price! Trade your sinfulness in exchange for His perfect, blameless life

Ask yourself, are you master over your body Are you more concerned about getting out of hell Than dying to yourself and living for the King

Ask yourself, have you given the Lord everything Or are you hoarding secret sins, boasting in them proudly Listen generation this is a tragedy!

You cannot serve yourself and serve God You cannot love the world and love God Do not be fooled, those are the words of God

1 John 2:15 17 James 4: 13-15 Philippians 3:18 Luke 9:22 On to John 12:23

He searches your heart and knows your intentions He knows your thoughts before you even think them

We must surrender to Christ And allow Him to change our inner being We must turn from the world And worship Him fully

I see a generation that needs to ask themselves honestly When they said the prayer and were baptized What did they really mean?
