Market Share of different products of NJ: Mutual Fund Mutual Fund is the main business of NJ. And its the main growth drivers of NJ. By the Mutual Fund, NJ is able to expand their business very nicely. So Mutual Fund is the main product of NJ. As above explain Mutual Fund is the main product of NJ. But what is Mutual Fund? In Mutual Fund business there is one fund manager who collect all the money of different investors and he invest all that money in very good and well known area. And from that return he pay to the investor In this process there is very low chance of loss and there is no risk and investors also can get more returns from it. So it can be says that Mutual Fund minimize the risk and giving more returns.
Different Schemes under Mutual Fund Open ended scheme These do not have a fixed maturity. You deal with the Mutual Fund for your investments and redemptions. The key feature is liquidity. You can conveniently buy and sell your units at Net Asset Value (NAV) related prices, at any point of time. Close ended scheme Schemes that have a stipulated maturity period (ranging from 2 to 15 years) are called close ended schemes. You can invest in the scheme at the time of the initial issue and thereafter you can buy or sell the units of the scheme on the stock exchanges where they are listed. The market price at the stock exchange could vary from the schemes NAV on account of demand and supply situation, unit holders expectations and other market factors.
Interval Schemes These combine the features of open-ended and close-ended schemes. They may be traded on the stock exchange or may be open for sale or redemption during predetermined intervals at NAV related prices.
(B) By Investment Objective Growth scheme Aim to provide capital appreciation over the medium to long term. These schemes normally invest a majority of their funds in equities and are willing to bear short term decline in value for possible future appreciation. These schemes are not for investors seeking regular income or needing their money back in the short term. Income Plan Aim to provide regular and steady income to investors. These schemes generally invest in fixed income securities such as bonds and corporate debentures. Capital appreciation in such schemes may be limited. Ideal for Retired people and others with a need for capital stability and regular income.
Industry specific schemes Industry specific schemes invest only in the industries specified in the offer document. The investment of these funds is limited to specific industries like InfoTech, FMCG, and Pharmaceuticals.
Systematic investment plan (sip) SIP involves investing a fixed sum of money in a specific investment scheme, on a regular basis, for a pre-determined number of periods. It is very similar to regular saving schemes like a recurring deposit. Systematic withdrawal plan As opposed to the Systematic Investment Plan, the Systematic Withdrawal plan allows the investor the facility to withdraw predetermined amount/units from his fund at a pre-determined interval. The investors units will be redeemed at the existing NAV as on that day. Systematic transfer plan Investors exposure to different types of securities, whether debt or equity should flow from their risk profile or risk appetite. For instance, an investor may start with a 40:60 mix of debt and equity, as determined by her risk profile. But if equity markets boom and debt securities lose value, then the 40:60 mix could get significantly distorted towards equity. In such a situation, it would be prudent to sell some equity and reinvest the redeemed amount in debt to re-balance the mix of debt and equity. In mutual funds such re-balancing can be achieved by systematically moving moneys between schemes. This can be achieved by systematic transfer plan. Diversified equity fund Diversified equity funds are the most popular among investors. They invest in many stocks across many sectors, and because they have the freedom to chop and churn their portfolios as they like, diversified equity funds are a good proxy to the stock market. If a general exposure to equities is what you want, they are a good option. They can invest in all listed stocks, and even in unlisted stocks. They can invest in which ever sector they like, in whatever ratio they like. Equity linked savings schemes (elss) Equity linked savings schemes (ELSS) are diversified equity funds that additionally offer income tax benefits to individuals. ELSS is one of the main section 80c instruments, along with the more popular debt options like the PPF, NSC and
Page 21 of 68
infrastructure bonds. In this Section 80c grouping. ELSS is unique. Being the only instrument to offer a total equity exposure. Sector Fund Sector funds invest in stocks from only one sector, or a handful of sectors. The objective is to capitalize on the story in the sectors, and offer investors a window to profit from such opportunities. Its a very narrow focus, because of which sector funds are considered the riskiest among all equity funds. Mid Cap Fund These are diversified funds that target companies on the fast growth trajectory. In the long run, share prices are driven by growth in a companys turnover and profits. Market players refer to them as mid-sized companies and midcap stocks with size in this context being benchmarked to a companys market value. So, while a typical large cap stock would have a market capitalization of over Rs 1,000 crores, a mid-cap stock would have a market value of Rs 250-2,000 crores. DEBT FUNDS These Funds invest a major portion of their corpus in debt papers. Government authorities, private companies, banks and financial institutions are some of the major issuers of debt papers. By investing in debt instruments, these funds ensure low risk and provide stable income to the investors. Debt funds are further classified as
1.
Gilt Funds Invest their corpus in securities issued by Government, popularly known as GOI debt papers. These Funds carry zero Default risk but are associated with Interest Rate risk. These schemes are safer as they invest in papers backed by Government. E.g. PRUICICI Gilt Fund, IDBI-PRINCIPAL Government Securities Fund
etc.
2. Income Funds
Income funds aim to maximize debt returns for the medium to longer term. Invest a major portion into various debt instruments such as bonds, corporate debentures and Government securities.
3. Short Term Plans (STPs)
Meant for investors with an investment horizon of 3-6 months. These funds primarily invest in short term papers like Certificate of Deposits (CDs) and Commercial Papers (CPs). Some portion of the corpus is also invested in corporate debentures.
4. Liquid Funds
Also known as Money Market Schemes, These funds are meant to provide easy liquidity and preservation of capital. These schemes invest in short term instruments like Treasury Bills, inter-bank call money market etc. These funds are meant for short-term cash management of corporate houses and are meant for an investment horizon of 1day to 3 months. These schemes rank low on riskreturn. Insurance Policy Prospective client or customers who wish to take any insurance policy has to contact a distributor/agent of NJ India Invest. And about 8% are between the ages of 41 to 50 years. And about 2% are more than 50 years. So this shows that the mainly respondents are young people. There are very less people who are interviewed. So here there will be the lack of experience respondents. So it might be happen that true information might be lacking.

Interpretation: In this research out of 120 respondents, 105 respondents are Male (88%) and remaining 15 are Female (12%). So the ration is 7:1. So this shows that there are mainly men respondents are there. Because by doing research regarding the topic, girls and woman are not ready to gave their name and phone no. Even they also says that how can we trust you for giving all our information? So they deny me for any information. And because of this i am able to interviewed only 15 respondents.

Interpretation: This graph explain that out of 120 respondents, 104 are interested in investment and 16 not interested in any investment And by asking why they are not interested in investment then they reply that due to security, then due to lack of knowledge about market, then due to no idea where to invest and which gave more returns, and due to financial problem.

Interpretation: This graph gave the information of all respondents as where they make their investment and in that about 48 respondents are make their investment in equity, mostly in share market. Page 52 of 68

Real estate
Then about 4 respondents who make their investment in debt, And 11 respondents in Mutual Fund, And 17 respondents in Gold, And 31 respondents in Insurance, And 14 respondents in Real estate, And 07 respondents in Post, And 12 respondents are not interested in any investment.
And this shows that more people are interested in Equity market. But now people are moving towards Gold and Real estate for more returns. This also shows that due to less risk and guaranteed returns people are more interested in insurance. Because by this they get more returns and also its less risky. So, from this research i found that people specially the people of more than 30 to 35 years are invested more in insurance.
And as said earlier people also more interested to invest in land and building as Real estate. As people buy some land and building and keep it with him for some time and when the price of that land or building are more than invested capital and when the investor feel good then they sale it. So, from this research i also found that currently people are moving towards in Real estate sector.
And the same case is with the gold and silver too. People are more invest their money in gold and silver.

Interpretation: In this research, i also ask the question to the respondents as are they satisfy with their current investment or not? Then in reply, out of 120 respondents i got 91 respondents (76%) who say that they are satisfy with their investment. And there are 12 respondents (10%) to whom this question is not applicable because they have not done any investment.

Interpretation: in the research, i also try to know as how many people are aware about some financial product like Mutual Fund. And regarding this I ask the question. And in response out of 120 respondents, 94 (78%) were aware about mutual fund very well. But still 26 (22%) respondents are there who still not aware about mutual fund. And from this I make the conclusion, although many advertisement or other promotional thing still major portion of the respondents are not aware about mutual fund and its surprising.

Interpretation: Now, in the research i also try to know that as what people think about mutual fund business it good or not. And in response out of 120 respondents only 19 respondents (16%) who says that mutual fund business is highest income generating business. While 92 respondents (77%) who believe that mutual fund is not a highest income generating business. And 9 respondents (7%) have no idea about this because they have no knowledge about mutual fund as earlier explain. So majority of the respondents were agree that mutual fund business is not the highest income generating business. Because they believes that mutual fund is fully depends on share market so its risky. So it sometimes gave good return but it sometime gave losses too. so its not good Instead of that people believe that real estate will be more income generating business then mutual fund and there are also other businesses which are better than mutual fund business. But although there are also some people who believes that mutual fund is a highest income generating business. Page 56 of 68

Interpretation: In this research i also try to know that the investors who invest their money in different market and in that in which mutual fund product they invest. And in this reply, out of 120 respondents, 60 respondents invest in Equity, And then 15 invest in Debt, And 31 respondents in Balance which is the ratio of Equity and debt as 65:35 respectively. And 2 respondents (1%) are in other and in that specially in Real estate, and Guilt funds, And 15 respondents (13%) have no idea about this. From this it can be says that majority of people are invest in equity market. they believe that it gave the highest return compared to others. and there were less people who invest in debt and balance and other. So it can be says that the people like the equity more for investment. Page 57 of 68

This table shows the relation between the income and the investment. And there is direct relation between income and investment. And it shows that with high income the investment will be high. But here the respondents whose income is more than 30000 pm although their investment is low compare to other income group people. And by asking the reason behind this then that respondents reply that they feel risk in the investment and it also not gave the good return. So instead of that to keep money safe with them.

CONCLUSION
Now, at last its the time to conclude the whole report and for this i start to end this report by saying thank you to all the people who directly or indirectly became helpful to me in doing the research, in giving the training, in guiding me, and in making this report. In conclusion, i want to say that in anand city people are from very good family and majority of people are strong in financial matter. And lots of people also want to invest their money where they get good returns with less risk but due to some incidents like Harshad Mehta scandal of share bazaar and also some new company who run away by taking people money, they dont want to invest new company and where they dont have trust. And in anand city people are invest their more money in Equity market and in Gold and Real estate. And for company point of view, NJ should have to try to decrease their fee for preparing employees and other people for the AMFI exam. Currently, they charge about 1000 Rs. For giving training for AMFI exam and if possible NJ should have to try to make it free to give training for prepare in AMFI exam. Because by this people are more attracted to become the partner of NJ. And this will helpful to company. And in last i want to say that, the summer internship training, and Research work is full of interesting and full with learning and experiencing too. And this training gave me more confidence and more knowledge about market and Financial products.
