Mission
Riviera Living is not just a residential facility; it is a new way of life for its residents. At Riviera, we believe that treating mental illness means more than making appointments with a therapist and filling prescriptions. People battling the symptoms of mental illness need a safe, healthy, supportive atmosphere in which to live, an environment that restores their connection to the good things in life, a comfortable home, nutritious food and a family, only then is recovery possible.

Program Description
Riviera East Valley Pavilion (EVP) is a 72 bed State licensed unlocked residential care facility in East San Jose, providing transitional housing and support services to adults, 18-59 years old, with serious mental illness. Individuals living at Riviera EVP are in need of an intermediary placement and supplemental support as they transition from higher levels of care, such as a psychiatric hospital, to community living. Riviera EVP is also open to individuals who are at risk of losing their community placement to prevent hospitalization. Oasis Care, Inc. is a non-profit agency contracted with Santa Clara County Mental Health Dept. to provide intensive outpatient mental health services and day rehabilitation to adults with severe mental illness. The program operates in a 72 bed State licensed unlocked transitional residential care facility. The length of stay is time limited and specific to each individuals needs. We work with the individual, their community providers and family at the time of discharge to find appropriate placement that will offer the greatest chance of success and long term stability in a community setting.
