PREFACE
All praises and thanks to Almighty Allah. The Lord and creator of the universe by whose power and glory all goods and things are accomplished. He is also the most merciful, who gave me the ability and opportunity to work on this report. It is an academic requirement for the student of Master of Business Administration to undergo an internship program of eight weeks duration. This provides an opportunity to the students to apply theoretical knowledge and gain practical experience about the organization. The purpose of internship report is to evaluate the performance of organization and give concrete recommendations for further improvements. I selected National Bank of Pakistan for my internship, which is one of the leading public sector commercial bank. My research study has been conducted on NBP Hangu Road branch Kohat. The extensive training program of NBP enabled me to gain animate experience and knowledge of banking. The main focus of this report is on the analysis of overall National Bank of Pakistan and especially NBP Hangu Road Branch Kohat. I have tried to present a true picture of the bank performance in the report. The bank staff was very much cooperative to me, they have provided me relevant material to write a report. I am very much thankful to them and to my advisor Mr. Majeed the supervision and guidance.

First of all I am very grate full to all Mighty Allah, who blessed me with his blessings through my research. Two people made this report more readable it otherwise might have beenMiss.Bushara Waseem (lecturer Preston University, Kohat) and Mr.Abbas (Lecturer Preston University Kohat). Miss.Bushara Waseem took my early, much as long for too redundant draft and helped me blast our way through the quite substantial barrier between unwieldy early scribbling and something that resembled report. Mr. Abbas was another major contributor to the writing process. He was enormously helpful in tightening my manuscript during the throes of final drafting. Both were the major contributors to the writing process.
