How Students Progress (how they can improved their work) Students must recognize the desired goal. Having evidences about their present work/position, they should come up with some understanding of ways to close the learning gaps. They should be trained in self-assessment so that they can understand the main purposes of their learning and thereby grasp what they need to achieve their goal. They should take the responsibility for their own learning. The feedback to any students should be about the specific qualities of his/her work, with some advices on what he/she can do to improve and should avoid comparison with other students. Dialogue between pupils and teachers should be thoughtful, reflective, focused to evoked and explore understanding so that all pupils have the opportunities to think and express their ideas or themselves. Students must be given help and chances to work on improvement, they should build self esteem. Teacher can do reteaching, individual tutoring and peer tutoring. Involve learning kits such as visual presentations, models, multi-media and other devices to motivate learners to learn more and to support their lifelong learning or skills.

This Formative assessment are scored but not graded. Students mark their own work and are encouraged to raise questions about the assessment and the material covered by the assessment. This test is used at the end of a unit in the course book or after a lesson designed.
