    C.I.S.F. (Asstt. Commandants) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2010 & 2011.

    Based on the written part of the Central Industrial Security Force (Assistant Commandant) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2010 & 2011 held on 19-06-2011 and the Personality Test held from 31st October, 2011 to 5th November, 2011, results were notified vide Press Note dated 21-11-2011 recommending 41 candidates for appointment, consisting of 32-General, 06Scheduled Castes and 03-Scheduled Tribe candidates. 2. As this is an Examination for Departmental promotion, the results were provided based on the eligibility list of candidates for the years 2010 & 2011 as furnished by the Department concerned. 3. After the results were notified vide Press Note referred to above, CISF have intimated the Commission vide their letters dated 29-11-2011 and 30-11-2011 that the eligibility list they had certified earlier had discrepancies. Based on revised scrutiny and certification of eligibility, results for the CISF (Asstt. Commandants) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2010 & 2011 are hereby recast as indicated in subsequent pages. The total no. of recommended candidates continue to be 21 (16-General, 03-SC & 02-ST) & 20 (16-General, 03-SC & 01-ST) respectively. Appointment to Central Industrial Security Force will be made according to number of vacancies available and due consideration to the provisions contained in the Rules for the Examination. 4. The result of candidate with Roll No.246 is provisional.

    5. UPSC has a Facilitation Counter near Examination Hall in its campus. Candidates can obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/recruitment on the working days between 1000 hrs. to 1700 hrs. in person or over telephone Nos.011-23385271/23381125. Result will also be available on the UPSC web site i.e. http/www.upsc.gov.in. However, marks on the website will be available in due course for a period of thirty days. 6. List of recommended candidates in order of merit is on next page. This list is in supercession of the list notified on 21-11-2011.
