5 GOOD QUALITIES OF ORGANIZATION CLIMATE AT JEC

1) JEC has a strong and challenging vision and sense of mission.


JEC has a definite set of goals that are to be achieved by a clear and down to earth methodology. Vision is a general description of how employees perceive their organization, or department, functioning in the future. Assessment of this organizational domain informs leaders how personnel envision the state of their organization, or the function of their jobs, three, seven, or ten years from now.JEC had this vision right from its establishment.

2) JEC shows exceptional ability to coordinate employees and resources to accomplish goals

Organizational communication methods provide information about what and how work is to be performed. The communication domain assesses opinions about how information flows through an organization and its associated departments. There is a definite flow of information and instructions, combined with the suggestions from top to down and vice versa at JEC.

3) JEC develops and implements clear, logical policies and procedures


Competencies refer to work related knowledge, skills, and abilities employees must possess in order to effectively perform their job. This domain assesses employee attitudes towards how well their competencies match up with their current job duties and responsibilities. Information is shared in a relevant and timely manner with the appropriate people so that they can make informed decisions. Communication flows from top to bottom, bottom to top, and across peer groups. Utilize crossfunctional teams, in which a mix of managers and line staff from various departments work together to discuss issues or implement projects

4) JEC has good cooperation and Teamwork among the students, faculty and the management

The faculty and the students together with the management constitute the team JEC. The team members of JEC organization have well developed complementary skills. The teamwork domain assesses employee attitudes towards how well they work with each other in order to solve problems and improve work processes. Assessing organizational teamwork means measuring factors including how well employees continuously work together to decide how work will be performed, how problems will be solved, and how team members are rewarded. At JEC, this is exactly what is done.

5) JEC operates in a clear, logical and rational manner and this yields positive results
Perhaps the most important aspect of the learning culture is the recognition that building a high performance organization is a never ending process .People continually seek out ways to learn new information and apply it in the work place. They acquire skills to become more effective in their current jobs or to move into higher-level positions. The staff of JEC always allowed attending faculty development programs, performance coaching conversations paper presentations, national level seminars etc. They gather and share information on best practices, trends and emerging needs. They are also prompt and ready to incorporate changes that benefit all.
