Know Your God

And those who know your name will put their trust in You... [Psalm 9:10]

That they may set their hope in God [Psalm 78:7] For you LORD have not forsaken those who seek You [Psalm 9:10]

Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. [Psalm 124:8]

Foreword
Biblical accounts, are good examples set before us as proof that the God of Genesis is the same God in Revelations, He NEVER changes.

He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, HE NEVER CHANGES (Hebrews 13:8). Lets read Exodus 15:26, FOR I AM THE LORD WHO HEALS YOU. Also, HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US OR FORSAKE US (Deuteronomy 31:6). What HE has done for them, HE WILL DO FOR US TODAY. This workbook is presented from a prospective of getting to know your God by just digging into the Word to feed your spirit. Get to know what He has provided for us, and what His will is for us. I believe that I was led by the Holy Spirit to present this study the way He wants you and me to come to know the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit intimately, as opposed to just knowing of Him. The time is now more than ever before, the Holy Spirit of God wants to bring our attention to the need to know Our Healer, Our Provider, Our Peace, Our Deliverer, etc. not just to know OF Him. BUT, to know Him. Let me tell you there is a vast difference. Nevertheless, it is your choice. GOD tells us in Deuteronomy chapter 28 about the promised blessings for the right choices. So remember, we do need to have an understanding of the character and sovereignty of God. Also, we will look at His attributes and search the scriptures for confirmation and revelations in the WORD OF GOD for who this Mighty God is, in relation to our daily walk as a child of God. We will cover some of the Old Testament accounts and search out passages in the New Testament gospels and epistles revealing His Mighty Acts.

Know Your God

As you look up and read each scripture verse allow the Holy Spirit to deposit truth into your spirit. Ask Him to reveal himself to you. Fill in the blanks and meditate on these verses. Take your time. Dont rush through this study. Draw out and deposit everything you can into your spirit as you come to know Him more and more. Once again, lets look at Exodus 15:26 as a reminder of one of the characteristics of who God is. Although this scripture verse reveals to us that He is our healer, you will soon find out as you progress in the study that He is also our provider, deliverer, salvation, peace, and the list continues revealing that He is everything we will ever need. As part of this study, we will look at some of the Old Testament Hebrew names of God. These names are part of how He reveals Himself to us. To study His names is surely worshipful, and glorious. We will also experience that this time spent with Him studying and meditating on these truths will surely mold our faith and will take us into the Glory of God. This is my prayer for you, that God will bless you even beyond your comprehension, Who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be glory, that His hand be with you and reveal His Holy Spirit to you, that through Him you will come to understand the most high God. El Elyon. It is also my deep desire that this awesome God will be more understood, worshiped and loved because of who He is, as we come to know HIS mighty name.

Before we start this study let us start with a song of praise to JEHOVAH ELOHIM This song was given by the Holy Spirit of God and is truly appropriate for the subject of study now. (sing from your heart with the tune the Holy Spirit gives)
