Sunday, March 4th ShareLife 2012

Together we are continuing to work wonders 1st ShareLife Sunday March 25th Working Wonders for the Elderly Ever since he had difficulty living on his own and moved into the Houses of Providence 18 months ago, Basil has come to think of this as his home. His eyes light up when he shows staff and visitors the photos of his sons and grandchildren. And he cant say enough about the quality of the meals, the entertainment, and the spiritual care. Basil appreciates the opportunity to observe religious celebrations during Christmas and Easter, and attending the daily Mass at the chapel. The people here are wonderful, he says. They care about you, and for you. Its all good very good.even if I won the $50 million lottery, Id still stay here if I could. More than 40,000 seniors in the GTA were involved in the programs and services offered by ShareLife agencies last year.

Double the Impact - of Your ShareLife Contribution!

Through the generosity of a parishioner in the Archdiocese, all new and increased gifts to the 2012 campaign will be matched. For example, a new $20 gift will create $40 in new contributions to the work of our agencies; an increase in your gift of $15 will mean that $30 new dollars will be raised. Together, we can reach the $650,000 target that this parishioner has indicated they will contribute against new and increased gifts. Help to make a significant impact toward the work of our agencies make a contribution toward the ShareLife campaign today!

Seeds of Vocation
Second Sunday in Lent - March 4th If you need examples of persons responding to Gods call, look at Abraham and Sarah - called in old age to leave their country and have a child. Then Abraham was asked to sacrifice that child. What faith! Answering Gods call to be a priest, brother, sister or deacon is also taking a great risk. If you are willing, and think God is calling you to a Church vocation, please call Fr. Hansoo at 416-9680997 or you may email vocations@vocations.ca (www.vocationstoronto.ca)
