Technical description
Two independent modules: Receiver and Transmitter assembled together as a single equipment. High performance RF sections based on MMIC technology IF sections highly integrated in analog ASICs TC demodulation and low frequency functions highly based on ASIC technology. Local oscillator section based on dielectric resonator voltage controlled oscillator (VCO)

Compatible with ESA TTC standards for scientific missions (ECSS-E-50-05A). Compatible with most bus interfaces (primary bus, command & telemetry formats) Over 100 S-Band transponders sold world-wide. Qualification in the frame of the ESA Herschel/Planck program (4 FMs to be delivered in 2006)

TCR and data transmission subsystems for Scientific and Earth Observation satellites. TCR subsystems for Navigation and Telecommunications satellites.

Main features
Coherent and non-coherent operating modes available by telecommand Telecommand & Ranging Receiver Modulation: PCM/PSK/PM Output: NRZ-L or TC subcarrier (custom-tailored). Telemetry & Ranging Transmitter Modulation: PCM/PSK/PM Simultaneous TM+RG subcarriers modulation TM direct modulation using SPL coded NRZ signals. BPSK/QPSK transmitters available on demand. Additional High Power Amplifier (HPA) available as a separate module.
