INTRODUCTION
Pharmacy Management System
1.1
Project Profile
The software pharmacy management system was developed to automate the pharmacy
department. This includes information about all pharmaceutical items, purchase, sales, stock, supplier entry, customer entry etc. This system provides any type of equity such as medicine details, stock details, customer details, supplier details, purchase details, purchase return details, billing In the existing system the information are recorded manually. The company has many complex calculations. The accounts in the department do this either manually or by using calculations. The existing system has a number of drawbacks. The objective of the proposed system is to eliminate the demerits of the existing system. In pharmacy management system the computerization provides more accuracy in complex calculations. The computerization provides timely reports. The computerized system accepts input and process quickly and effectively. The system is designed in such a way that the user can interact with the system in an effective manner. The proposed system produces the details of the Customer, item, supplier, purchase, sales, purchase return, purchase order, stock, and bills by it. So this system is very easy for the user. The proposed system is developed in Visual Basic 6.0 as front end and Microsoft SQL server management studio express as back end. This system has administrative and user property, this provides security features to the system, and it can prevent unauthorized access software. All this features are implemented in my software in very flexible manner. Using data report we created reports in this project.

4.2 Hardware Specification

The selection of hardware configuration is a very important task related to the software development, particularly inefficient RAM may affect adversely on the speed and corresponding on the efficiency of the entire system. The processor should be powerful to handle all the operations. The hard disk should have the sufficient capacity to solve the database and the application. The network should be efficient to handle the communication fast.

The goal of designing input data is to make the automation as easy and free from errors as possible. For providing a good input design for the application easy data input and selection features are adopted. The input design requirements such as user friendliness, consistent format and interactive dialogue for giving the right messages and help for the user at right are also considered for development for this project.
5.3 Output Design

A quality output is one, which meets the requirements of end user and presents the information clearly. In any system result of processing are communicated to the user and to the other system through outputs. In the output design it is determined how the information is to be displayed for immediate need. It is the most important and direct source information is to the user. Efficient and intelligent output design improves the systems relationships with the user and helps in decision making. The objective of the output design is to convey the information of all the past activities, current status and to emphasis important events. The output generally refers to the results and information that is generated from the system. Outputs from computers are required primarily to communicate the results of processing to the users.
5.4 Module Design

In PHARMACY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM have two users are: Administrator The administrators access all modules in software. Administrator is the main user in the software. Staff The staff access three modules in the software. The staff to be not accessed with the purchase modules. The modules are: sales, supplier entry and data report. The PHARMACY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM has four modules: Purchase Sales

The main aim of the project, i.e., to eliminate the drawbacks found in the existing system, has been achieved. The candidate system will speed up operations. A high amount of the flexibility is implemented in using the system. The users can use this with great ease. In general the new system is found to meet its entire objective. We can expand the system based on user needs. The ability of expansion is very important, because when the users face additional needs then we can not include these needs if the system can not have this feature. So ability of expansion is very important to fulfill the user needs and is easy in this Software.
