The findings suggest:

Music is still as important as it has ever been. The younger the individual is, the more time they spend listening to music.

Music is a form of self-expression used to reflect not only who they are but how they feel. It is also used as a medium to escape the real world and relax. The most common forms of listening to music still remain to be the radio, the internet and MP3s.

Music videos are often watched because of the official videos on the internet. Although music is still bought, there is definitely a rise in illegal downloading which is potentially threatening the music industry and the viability of the three products for this project. Albums are still the most purchased out of singles and compilations.

Digipaks are seen to make no difference as to whether a person buys a CD or not meaning that it needs to be eye catching and change this mentality. Artwork is of high precedence linking into making a digipak seem to be the more appealing option.

Advertising in all forms seem to influence people, but most people listen to something their friend recommends them.
