ASSESSMENT, TESTING, AND DIAGNOSIS IN COUNSELING Abstract Assessment, testing and diagnosis are an important part in counseling. These important parts in counseling have brought about some issues in proper handling of these procedures. This paper will discuss the importance of assessment, testing, and diagnosis in counseling. Issues in knowledge and use of testing, guidelines for user of test, education in assessment, diagnosis issues in counseling, online assessment, testing, diagnosis, and cost and performance of online testing, biblical values in assessment, testing, and diagnosis. The affect that counselor identity, function and ethics have on counseling practices, and my person reflection on assessment, testing, and diagnosis in counseling.
