Location: The Kitan oil field is located in the Timor Sea in an area called JPDA (Joint Petroleum Development Area). The JPDA is a wide area located 200 km south of Timor Leste coast and 500 Km offshore the northern coast of Australia, which is jointly administered by the states of Timor Leste and Australia. Petroleum tax revenues from this area are shared between the two States: 90% of them go to Timor Leste and 10% to Australia. Project Configuration: Water Depth: 310-335 m

Reservoir Depth: ~ 3360 m FPSO Oil Production Capacity: 40,000 BOPD (Peak Capacity) FPSO Storage Capacity: 600,000 BPLS (Peak Capacity) 3 Production Subsea Wells Subsea System, Flexible Flowlines

Project challenges: First production is expected to commence in the second half of 2011 which would see oil being delivered to market just over 3 years from commercial declaration. Responsibilities: I was in charge of the overall contract administration of FPSO Contract with the following Scope of Work: FPSO upgrading for the intended service, as appropriate, Management and project control, Basic Design engineering, Detailed and installation engineering, to include engineering for Formal Safety Assessment (FSA) studies to allow COMPANY to obtain authorizations, Materials and equipment procurement, Fabrication Classification of the FPSO and classification/certification of relevant equipment, Onshore integration, Onshore commissioning, Installation of the Mooring System, Offshore hook-up of the FPSO to its Mooring System, FPSO management, during the provision of the FPSO and Mooring System, crewing and offshore manning for the first start-up of the FPSO, including recruitment, hiring, training and competency testing, preparation of the FPSO operating procedures and manuals, including those for start-up and shutdown, to be consistent with the operating procedures of the subsea production system, preparation of the inspection and maintenance, integrity management and corrosion control procedures for the FPSO, including also its Mooring System, Computerized Maintenance and Material Management System (CMMMS), to support the operation and the maintenance of any piece of equipment,

Location: The Blacktip gas field is located in the Bonaparte Gulf, Approximately 110km offshore Wadeye, Northern Territory, in about 52m (LAT) of water. The field has been developed with a small un-manned offshore wellhead platform, a subsea pipeline bringing the fluids to shore at Yelcharr Beach and an onshore gas processing plant near Wadeye. The processed gas is exported via an onshore export pipeline, by others, to the customer and the condensate will be exported via a subsea pipeline to a spread mooring for shipping via tanker vessel. Project Configuration: Offshore wellhead platform in ~ 51m water, with minimal facilities (no hydrocarbon processing). A 110 km 18 multiphase pipeline to a shore (beach) landing. An Onshore Gas Plant with gas, condensate and water treatment, gas and condensate export systems. Aquila 2 Project: Aquila Field Redevelopment Project Lease of New Bulit FPSO with a open bookbase CAPEX phase (EUR 540 million). Location: Aquila Field is an offshore oil field, operated by Eni, and located about 50 km NE Brindisi/Italy, in the southern Adriatic Sea. The water depth, at the field, is about 815 m. In the period 1998 to 2006, the field exploitation has been pursued with a converted tanker type FPSO system, single point moored, named "FPSO Firenze". For the remaining part of field exploitation, the new FPSO unit is required to be installed. Project Configuration: The production facilities of Aquila Field consist of: The FPSO surface vessel, which will receive crude oil directly from the underwater wellheads, separate oil, gas and water, inject gas into the field for artificial lift requirement, store stabilized crude oil and offload it via hoses to proper export tankers, periodically moored to the FPSO, a mooring system, allowing the permanent station keeping of the FPSO, flexible riser and umbilical systems connected to the subsea X-mas trees of the two wells Aquila 2 and Aquila-3. Project challenges: To cost effectively build an FPSO which is intended to be dedicated to the residual exploitation of Aquila Field (offshore Italy) and, after depletion of such field and subsequent suitable upgrading and expansion works on minimal cost, to be reinstalled in a different offshore field, most likely located in the Mediterranean Sea or West Africa.

Responsibilities: As the procurement representative of the client based at contractors premises my duties were to ensure that project key contracs (long lead items, yard contract, risers etc) are placed in the most cost effective way, in accordance with the project schedule and that associated cost are passed on to client without any profit margin as this phase of the project was carried out on an open book basis. Work Scope of the Open Book Project Phase: Water Depth: 800-830m. Provision of an FPSO, mooring system and relevant O&M services. Provision of Riser system. Provision of umbilical system. Provision of maintenance services for Aquila Subsea Production Systems. Provision of modification of the existing subsea Flowline Termination Unit Modules to allow tie-in of new risers. Provision of modification of the existing Umbilical termination Unit Modules to allow-tie-in of new Umbilical Systems. Provision of test services of the Subsea Production System. Provision of installation activities to remove the existing riser and umbilical systems. Provision of installation activities for new risers, umbilicals and mooring system. Provision of installation activities for hook-up of the FPSO. Kashagan Development Project: Provision of a 270 MW combined cycle Power Plant wit all Associated Utility Systems (USD 570 million) on EPC basis. Location: Kashagan, an offshore oil field located at the north of the Caspian Sea, Kazakhstan sector (approximately 80 km south of the town of Atyrau), was discovered in July 2000. A group of major international oil companies led by Agip are associated with the field development. Kashagan is the largest oil field discovered over the last thirty years worldwide and extends over a surface of approximately 75 km by 45 km. Project challenges: This development project represents one of the greatest challenges of the petroleum industry given the deep, high-pressure reservoir, the high sulphur content, the shallow waters that freeze in winter and wide temperature variations from -30C to +40C. Water depth of the field is barely 4 m while reservoir contains 45 API oil with associated sour gas (up to 23% H2S). Project Configuration: 270 MW combined cycle Power Plant All associated utility systems & Infrastructure Steam & Condensate Treated Water Systems Utilities Area Fire fighting Chemical Handling Air & Nitrogen Fuel Gas Diesel Responsibilities: I was responsible for establishing change control/contract administration procedures and undertaking contract administration and development/settlement of claims in respect of two Construction Contracts (Power Generation and Utilities) on site.
