EASTER OUTREACH 2012 This year, Easter will be celebrated on April 8th. On that day, God will prompt millions of people around the world to attend church. For some reason, people who dont normally go to church will make a decision to do so on that day like no other time of the year. What can you do? Invite Your Friends Would you consider inviting your unchurched family and friends to church this Easter? They are all more likely to say yes to an Easter invitation than at any other time of the year. Hands down, personal invitation is the number one evangelism tool in the church. Would you commit to invite at least three un-churched friends and/or family members and let us know on your Connection Card so that we can plan and pray? Prayer If you are hesitant to invite people you know to church, you can begin by taking the less-intimidating step of praying for your friends and the church during our Easter outreach. Would you commit to pray daily for your un-churched family & friends and let us know on your Connection Cards? Day of Prayer & Fasting The session of Cedar Church will set aside Good Friday, April 6th, as a public day of prayer and fasting for our Easter services and outreach ministry. To learn more about the biblical practice of fasting, you can listen to a 3 part sermon series on fasting by Pastor Steve by clicking the fasting link under the sermon index at www.sermons.cedarchurch.net. Would you pledge to fast and pray for spiritual breakthrough that day? Easter Activities You and your guests are invited to a special pancake breakfast on Easter morning from 9:00 AM 10:00 AM. Our morning worship service will be held at 10:30 AM and there will be no Sunday School that day. We will also have special outreach gifts as a way of saying thank you to our guests that day.
