And the rumours that she has bid adieu to acting keep coming... Nayantara however, denies them all. Yes, she is going to wed choreographer-turneddirector Prabhudeva, but quitting cinema is not in the books... at least, not yet! I am awaiting the release of Sri Rama Rajyam. And I am yet to sign on other movies. But that does not mean I have completely quit. If I had made such a decision I would openly mention it to the press, Nayantara is said to have stated in response to the rumours of her early retirement.

The actress got so involved with the character that on the very last day of shoot, she broke down on the sets of the movie! These tears were sparked rumours that her acting career had come to and end, but now we know better. Nayans involvement with her role in the movie showed even in her personal life, because for as long as she was playing Sita, she was on a strict vegan diet! The one thing however, that we hear she was reluctant to give up on was the mole on her lip. Since she is playing such a worshiped character, director Bapu felt that the mole might give an unwanted sensual appeal to the character. However, Nayan refused to have the mole camouflaged with make-up, and so Bapu ended up getting it removed during the post-production!

Engeyum Eppodhum is the first ever film produced by the much appreciated and respected director AR murugadoss and that is being considered as a strong backing for the movie. But the producer himself begs to differ, The story and screenplay is the strongest backing for this movie. I was impressed with Saravanans (director) script and that is why agreed to produce it. what more, the movie is also co-produced by Fox Studios! The plot revolves around two couples whose paths converge in an unexpected manner in the grand finale. Jai plays the lead role and has Anjali, Ananya and Sarwanand for company. The casting makes us understand that the movie will have two love stories and rumours are that one of the love story is set in Chennai and the other one is set in trichy and the two stories join together in a kick ass climax! I am very excited to be a part of this movie. I have a very good role and it is a prestigious project to be associated with, said actor Jai as his co-star Sarwanand nodded in agreement. Both the heroines, Anjali and Ananya are up and coming actresses but there seems to be no bad blood between them. Anjali said that it had been a wonderful experience and there had been no ego hassles. Ananya praised the team and said she was delighted to have bagged such a wonderful character so early in her career. The movies music composed by newcomer Sathya was recently launched and it came of praise for its lyrics by Na. muthukumar and some good music! Director Saravanan who has already directed a hit film in telugu, is upbeat about the project and assures that it will be a big success! There is a lot of expectation for EE since it is the first ever production from my mentors stable, says Saravanan. It is a romantic flick and the title suggests the theme loving and being loved is happening everywhere. It is a jolly ride till the climax, he claims. Engeyum Eppodhum will be another breezy romantic entertainer, but with a difference. Produced by AR murugadoss and directed by his erstwhile assistant Saravannan, EE is a double love story with an engaging climax. with a talented cast comprising of Jai, Sarwanand, Anjali and Ananya, EE has been grabbing eye balls for long now. The buzz got louder when actor Suriya released the audio of the movie and the music by newcomer Sathya won praises. As Ramadan is most famous for the yummy food, here is a special Ramadan snack recipe that you can try at home! BREAD PAkORA (Serves 4; Prep & Cook time: 30 mins) You need... Bread slices (2 nos.), Curd (5 tbsp), Chilli Powder ( tsp), Salt ( tsp), Baking Powder ( tsp), Green Chillies (4 nos.), Coriander leaves (4 tbsp), white Cumin Seeds ( tsp), Gram flour ( cup), Oil, water. Cook it up! 1. Remove the sides of the bread slices and crumble it. 2. Soak it in a mix of curd and water. 3. Add in chopped green chillies, coriander leaves, salt, baking powder, cumin seeds, chilli powder and gram flour. 4. mix it well. 5.Deep fry and serve hot with coriander chutney/ tomato ketchup!

It has been in news for long that kamal Haasans Viswaroopam will be one of the costliest films ever made in India and a dream project but kamal seems to be totally unlucky in finding a suitable heroine for the project. His first choice was the Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha but that did not happen due to several reasons ranging from date problems and some buzz that she was not compatible for the movie. And then there was a rumour that Deepika Padukone, Rajnis heroine in Rana, was considered for the role but the makers thrashed it. After this, one news which made maximum noise was that 180 heroine Priya Anand might be cast in a role but that also reached the dead end when kamal denied it. Another speculation that was making rounds was that, Bollywood actress Isha Sharwani, a trained dancer, was to be cast in the role of the second heroine. this news was neither clear nor confirmed. Finally, sources say that the sexy siren Sameera Reddy has been approached to play the leading lady. So far, this has neither been confirmed nor denied by people closely associated with the film. Apart from directing the film, kamal has also penned its screenplay, dialogues and lyrics. Sources also confirm that Viswaroopam will be a trilingual being made simultaneously in tamil, telugu and Hindi.the shoot of Viswaroopam is likely to be completed in 100 days. Shankar, Ehsaan and loy will score the music of Viswaroopam, produced by telephoto Films and scheduled to release by end of this year. Sameera who delighted the tamil audience in Vaaranam Aayiram, will certainly suit this movie, for she can appeal to the tamil, telugu and Hindi audience. we sincerely hope he finds the best heroine soon and everything goes as per plan!

RowthiRam (tamil) : Jiivas next after ko, Rowthiram is an action entertainer with a social message. It tells the story of Shiva ( Jiiva) who is close to his grandfather who teaches him to fight all atrocities and he does just that and during the course of fighting against miscreants, he locks horns with two dons. what happens after that forms the rest of the movie. Shirya Saran plays the role of Priya, a bubbly law student who is a supportive girlfriend of Jiiva. Director Gokul, who is also in charge of the story and screenplay, could have trimmed certain sequences in the second half and made the film more racy. the songs fail to make an impression with maalai mangum Neram being an exception. Every actor has given a good performance and the movie would be a lot better if certain sequences are pruned off.

Superstar Rajinikanth expressed his grief and condolences over the death of Bollywood legend Shammi kapoor. I am a great admirer and a huge fan of Shammiji. His energy on screen is a treat to watch and I have loved every bit of it. His demise is a huge loss to the film industry and fraternity and mainly to his millions of fans. I convey my heart felt condolences to all in his family, Rajinikanth said in a statement. O mere sona... you will always live in our hearts, he added. aaRakshan (hindi) : Ever since the movie was announced, it has been mired with controversies for its strong subject. Aarakshan, directed by Prakash Jha, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali khan, manoj Bajpai and Deepika Padukone, deals with a very sensitive subject of reservation and commercialization of education institutions. Centred on one of the most controversial issues of recent years, the story suddenly becomes a roller-coaster ride of high drama, conflict and rebellion, which tests their love and friendship between the characters and their loyalty to each other. The movie boasts of splendid performances by all the leads but the long duration of the movie is a huge deterrent. Despite being inspirational and thought provoking, the movie does not offer any solutions but merely addresses the issue and gives a peek into what is actually happening around us. Captain ameRiCa: the FiRst avengeR (english): This movie is primarily based on the early days of the marvel Universe and is set during the world war II. The movie is about a wannabe military aspirant, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), who is deemed unfit for the armed forces because of his physical condition. Out of desperation, he volunteers to participate in a top secret experimental program that turns him into a super soldier known as Captain America, a super hero who is dedicated to defending Americas ideals. together with his team, he wages a war against Red Skull, Nazis secret research department. The simple, yet taut story line is surely a plus for the movie. All the characters have been cast to perfection, and they ensure that the liveliness of the movie is not lost at any stage. Director Joe Johnston has striven hard to ensure that the movie is not too hyped up with the superhero stuff, but is toned down with more reality than fantasy. This is one of the best superhero flicks in recent times.

SPY kIDS: All tHE tImE IN tHE wORlD (English): This film revolves around twins named Rebecca and Cecil (Rowan Blanchard and mason Cook), who do not like their step mother marissa Cortez wilson (Jessica Alba), the wife of spy-hunting reporter wilbur wilson (Joel mcHale). But what the kids are not aware of is that marissa is a retired agent for the OSS (Organization of Super Spies) which has since become the worlds top spy agency and former HQ of the now-defunct Spy kids division. when Earth is threatened by an organization led by an evil mastermind known as the timekeeper (Jeremy Piven), she is called back into action by the OSS. Previous Spy kids Carmen and Juni Cortez (Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara) also join in the adventure.
