Celebration Acknowledge Sacred Space For those who know, no explanation is necessary. For those who do not know, no explanation is possible. You know yourself as no one else possibly can. The "I" that is you, the self you know as your individual personality, thinks, feels and wills throughout the events of your life. This is what is known as your "ego". It is your individuation distinguishing you from the selves of others and from the objects of your thoughts. Your ego is the conscious accumulator of your experiences in the body you are using and it believes it is separate and distinct from the "others" in its reality. In this separation exists apparent independence, safety and imagined security. As your ego compiles its idea of life through these events, the experiences

are added to your soul, your etheric record, and the composite of you is enhanced. Sacred space proposes something quite different and outside of what the world's idea of the ego maintains. Consider this: You are Source or God or All That Is, however you see the Ineffable that underlies all of creation. There is no halfway measure here. By Source is meant that awareness that has always existed with or without created worlds and dimensions. It is the origin of all without having origin itself. This includes your ego personality since that is the unique expression you perceive as you. Now, isn't that something to think about ~ your expression in this body, your ego, is composed of source material. Your ego is sacred. The ego is your personal, individual guidance system if you align it within its sacred self. When you shift the conscious awareness that is individually expressing through you to its point of origination, the Ineffable, you embrace your essence, the quintessence of you as Source in a body. How do you align self with the authenticity of your essence? If you are going to be the authentic you, then you must acknowledge your presence completely. You must allow yourself to acknowledge that you are the source. This includes your ego, the expression of you in this body which is the sacred space in which you presently dwell. In order to arrive at this awareness, you must learn to value your emanation as Source far more than your ego's belief in separation. This cognizance is inherent in the very cells of your body, your DNA, your heart. You will begin to realize that making the choice to be what you are, as you are, is the most sacred gift you can bestow upon yourself. Once your focus is anchored in this intention, your beloved personality, the ego, melts gracefully and gratefully into the Essence that is the source of your Sacred Emanation. All separation dissolves. We stand in sacred space; We are filled with divine energy. Let us honor Earth and Sun on this, their day of union. Let us embrace the energy that they share, and give our own energy in celebration! Blessed be! Reading Praised be the magickal days of Beltane! Praise to the warming sun and the lengthening days. Praise to the scent of cleansing rain. Praise to the flowers and the plants, bursting forth with vibrant color.

Praise to new beginnings, full of hope and promise. Praise to the laughter of children, dancing in faerie wings. Praise to love in the air, and a song in our hearts. Praise to the beautiful Maiden Goddess and the lusty young God. Praise and joy and passion and love we send this day, In honor of the glorious season of Beltane!

Group offering Chant? Energy sending? Goddess of Earth, God of Sun, we stand together at this time of your union, and we celebrate your love, your passion and your joy. We, who are your children, share in these energies. We honor you, as divine lovers, creators of all life, and we recognize the beauty of your union in all that we see budding, blooming, growing, all around us. Please accept the offerings of spirit that we have given this day . May we always live in harmony with you, finding peace and joy wherever our paths may lead us. Blessed be. Statement of Purpose We have gathered on this blessed day to celebrate Beltane. May day. This is the height of springtime, when the fertility of the earth abounds, bringing great beauty to the world. We come to celebrate this beauty. We come to praise the bountiful Earth Maiden and the strong, shining Sun, who unite today in sacred marriage. This is a time for joy and a time for celebration. The richness of the soil accepts the seed, and now is the time that seeds should be spilled. Togetherness brings joy and abundance fills the earth. Let us celebrate the love and union of God and Goddess. .............

Spiral dance In celebration of the divine union of Sun and Earth, we will now combine and weave our own energies, creating a new and strong energy that may be directed wherever it is needed the most. ~In circle, begin spiral. Pass rattle around. Anyone may lead when they have it. State what you want to send energy toward. Go as slow or as fast as you want for your goal. You may rattle if you wish. Passing the flame Have one person get and hand out candles. Light candle for 2nd person, who will say the lines and begin passing the flame. We have danced our energy out into the world. We are filled with divine love and joy. We are light, standing within a circle of light, and when we stand together, the light burns more brightly than when we are alone. We offer our light to each other, to God and Goddess, and to the world. Blessed be. Begin to pass the flame. Song or chant? Cakes and Ale -bless ale as usual, then sprinkle onto cakes. Thanking God and Goddess We walk the Earth in friendship and peace, not in dominance. Maiden Earth, blazing Sun God, We thank you for your presence this day and every day. Please accept our offerings of praise and honor, and instill within us the wisdom of your presence within ourselves and those around us, in all that we do and all that we see .
