PROGRAM OVERVIEW Team Challenge is an endurance training program designed to raise funds to help find a cure for Crohns disease and ulcerative colitis. Team Challenge trains novice and advanced participants around the country to run or walk a half marathon over a 16-week period, culminating in a half marathon event at the Napa-to-Sonoma Half Marathon in Napa Valley California on July 15, 2012, and the Rock n Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon on December 2, 2012!

Napa-to-Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon - July 15, 2012

Runners and walkers will join together for 13.1 miles through the beautiful vineyards of the Carneros wine region. Team Challenge is headed to wine country to experience this breathtaking course. Do something you never thought you could do, help find cures and run or walk 13.1 miles!
Las Vegas Rock n Roll Half Marathon - December 2, 2012

Team Challenge is the exclusive charity of the Rock n Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon! The ultimate Vegas experience with electrifying, live entertainment. Come with us to experience a surefire win. You'll rock n roll with Elvis on this action packed course down the strip. You can make a difference! What are Crohns and colitis? Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis are painful, unpredictable diseases that attack the digestive system. Crohn's disease may attack anywhere along the digestive tract, while ulcerative colitis inflames only the large intestine (colon). Some 1.4 million American adults and children suffer from Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, with as many as 150,000 under the age of 18. Most people develop the diseases between the ages of 15 and 35.
The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Our Federal Tax ID # is 13-6193105. Our mission: To cure Crohns disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.

CCFA research programs are creating tomorrow's treatments and perhaps laying the groundwork for cures. Last year, the Information Resource Center at CCFA connected with more than 17,500 patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals. CCFA offers educational and patient services through its 41 chapters nationwide that include teleconferences, support groups, the latest clinical trials information and much more.
