Advanced Expertise Comments: Through Erin's teachings about the Art Center she helped the 4th graders connect concepts tto the real world. She facilitated and planned for the field trip using multiple resources, and strengthened students creativity and critical thinking skills in a collaborative setting. She uses a variety of methods to check for understanding. Erin is reflective on the student's progress and her own growth. Planning the lesson content and meeting student needs comes naturally to Erin. Her strength as an artist and a mother helps her shine in this area.
