No response to button press (1) (2) (3) (1) (2) (3) (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) Explanation Check that the power supply is plugged in. Check that cabling between AC Plug and power pack is properly connected. Check if the safety fuse of the power pack is broken. Check if the power pack is outputting 5V. Replace if not. Is the mainboard U19 Pin-2 output HIGH? Replace if not. s Check U16 power supplies 1.8V/2.5V/3.3V is behaving normally. If not, inspect s REG3, REG13, REG7 circuitry. Check if Debug Port is displaying Debug message. If not, replace the mainboard. Check if battery fitted. Check if battery correctly fitted. Check if battery still has power. Check if remote control transmitting window is blocked by foreign object. s Check if TV receiver window is blocked by foreign window. s Check if there is 5V from Key/IR board U1 pin-3. Is there High-Low signal from s Pin-1? Replace if not. Check if mainboard CN13 pin-8 has High-Low signal. If not check if wiring between mainboard and Key/IR board is normal. Check if U16 power supply 1.8V/2.5V/3.3V is normal. If not inspect REG3, REG13, REG7 wiring. Check if Key/IR board LED1 is burnt out, replace if necessary. s Check if Q1 is burnt out, replace if necessary. After powering up, is CN13 pin-9 at HIGH? If not, replace main board. Check if any buttons are stuck fast and not springing back. Replace unresponsive buttons SW1-7 on the Keypad board. Check if U16 power supply 1.8V/2.5V/3.3V is normal. If not, inspect REG3, REG13, REG7 circuitry or replace the mainboard. Check if Tuner Box is installed and locked in place. Check if TV antenna is properly connected. Check if there is actually programming on this channel. Check if there is 5V coming from the mainboard CN15 pin-1 and pin-3. If not, check s REG15/REG16 components. Check if mainboard CN15 pin-4 and pin-8 have the signal. If not, replace the Tuner Box. [6-1]: Check if video at mainboard U23, U9 3.3V/1.8V is normal. If not inspect s s REG8, REG10, REG12, REG17. [6-2]: Check if U9 (Y2), U23 (Y5) crystal clocks are working. If not, inspect Y2, Y5. s [6-3]: Chef if U9 input corresponding points A11-A44 have a signal. Are R and C s before the U9 input point damaged? U23 is the TV/AV specific Comb filter, so go on to check if pin-93 is signal input, while Pin-88, Pin-99 are signal output. If there are no signals, check the surrounding circuitry or replace U23. [6-4]: Check if U9 outputs XPD0-XPD7, XCLK have good High-LOW signals. If not, replace U9. [7-1]: Check if audio at mainboard U11 +/-5V and 8V are normal. If not, inspect s s REG6, REG9, REG11. [7-2]: Check if U11 pin-16 is HIGH. If not, inspect R127, C177. [7-3] Check if U11 crystal clock is working. If not, replace Y3. [7-4]: Measure if there is signal at U11 pin-50. If not, inspect the R and C components before it. [7-5]: Measure IC U11 pin-17, pin-18, pin-20, pin-21 for signal output. If not, replace U11. [7-6]: Check if sound amplifier U8, U4 inputs pin-3, pin-5 have signal output. If not s inspect the R and C components before it. [7-7]: Check if sound amplifier U8, U4 power supply 8V is normal. s [7-8]: Check if sound amplifier U8, U4 outputs pin-1, pin-7 have a signal. If not, s replace U8, U4. [7-9] Check if speakers are working. Replace if not. Check if cabling to DVD is corrected connected. Check if DVD is transmitting a signal. Check if Source selected correctly. Check if AV board CN1 has a video signal. Does CN2 have an audio signal? If not, s replace AV board. [5-1]: Check if video is normal at mainboard U23, U9 3.3V/1.8V. If not, inspect s s REG8, REG10, REG12, and REG17. [5-2]: Check if U9(Y2), U23(Y5) crystal clock is working. If not, inspect Y2, Y5. [5-3]: Check if U9 input corresponding A11-A44 points have a signal. If not check if s AV to mainboard wiring or the R, C components before U9 input point are damaged. U23 is the TV/AV dedicated 3D Comb filter, so go on to check if pin-93 is signal input, pin-88, pin-99 are signal outputs. If no signals, inspect all surrounding circuitry or replace U23. [5-4]: Check if U9 outputs XPD0-XPD7, XCLK have good HIGH-LOW signals. If s not, replace U9. [6-1]: Check if audio at mainboard U11 +/-5V and 8V are normal. If not, inspect s s REG6, REG9, REG11. [6-2]: Check if U11 pin-16 is HIGH. If not, inspect R127, C177.

Slow to turn on
[6-3] Check if U11 crystal clock is working. If not, replace Y3. [6-4]: Measure U11 pin-41, pin-42, pin-44 and pin-45 for signals. If not, check the wiring from AV to mainboard and R, C components. [6-5]: Measure IC U11 pin-17, pin-18, pin-20, pin-21 for signal output. If not, replace U11. [6-6]: Check if sound amplifier U8, U4 inputs pin-3, pin-5 have signal output. If not s inspect the R and C components before it. [6-7]: Check if sound amplifier U8, U4 power supply 8V is normal. s [6-8]: Check if sound amplifier U8, U4 outputs pin-1, pin-7 have a signal. If not, s replace U8, U4. [6-9] Check if speakers are working. Replace if not. (1) Check if cabling to DVD is corrected connected. (2) Check if DVD is transmitting a signal. (3) Check if Source selected correctly. (4) Check if AV board CN1 has a video signal. Does CN2 have an audio signal? If not, s replace AV board. (5) [5-1]: Check if video is normal at mainboard U27, U28, U16 3.3V/2.5V/1.8V. If s s not, inspect REG3, REG13, REG7, REG14, and FB35. [5-2] If YPbPr, check if the U28 input corresponding pin-1, pin-5 and pin-25 points s have a signal. If not, check the wiring from AV to mainboard and the R,C before U28 input point to see if they are damaged. Go on to check if U27 pin-8, pin10, pin-12 have a signal. If not, replace U28 or the R,C components before it. [5-3] If VGA check if U27 input corresponding pin-1, pin-3 and pin-5 points have a s signal. If not, inspect the R, C components before it. [5-4] Check if U27 output points pin-16, pin-18, pin-20 have a signal. If not, replace s U27. (6) [6-1]: Check if audio at mainboard U11 +/-5V and 8V are normal. If not, inspect s s REG6, REG9, REG11. [6-2]: Check if U11 pin-16 is HIGH. If not, inspect R127, C177. [6-3] Check if U11 crystal clock is working. If not, replace Y3. [6-4]: Measure U11 pin-35, pin-36, pin-38 and pin-39 for signals. If not, check the wiring from AV to mainboard and R, C components. [6-5]: Measure IC U11 pin-17, pin-18, pin-20, pin-21 for signal output. If not, replace U11. [6-6]: Check if sound amplifier U8, U4 inputs pin-3, pin-5 have signal output. If not s inspect the R and C components before it. [6-7]: Check if sound amplifier U8, U4 power supply 8V is normal. s [6-8]: Check if sound amplifier U8, U4 outputs pin-1, pin-7 have a signal. If not, s replace U8, U4. [6-9] Check if speakers are working. Replace if not. (1) Check if cabling to DVD/PC connected correctly. (2) Check if DVD/PC is transmitting a signal. (3) Check if Source selected correctly. (4) Check if video at mainboard U16 3.3V/2.5V/1.8V is normal. If not, inspect REG3, s REG13, REG7. (5) As the DVI audio and VGAs shares the same circuitry, refer to the VGA instructions. (1) Check if already turned on, refer to power indicator. (2) Check if mainboard CN1 pin-4 is HIGH. (3) Is the power pack outputting 24V? (4) Is the wiring from the power pack to the Panel Inverter properly connected? (5) Check if U16 pin-c26 has a High-Low signal output. (6) Is the mainboard CN3 pin-4 outputting High signal? If not, inspect Q1, Q2. (7) Is the CN3 pin-3 output less than 2V? If not, inspect U1A. (1) Check if all the above video inspection items are working. (2) Check if the LVDS wiring from mainboard to Panel is connected properly. (3) Check if the mainboard CN7 pin-26, pin-28 and pin-30 have 5V. If not, inspect Q32, s Q33. (4) Check if CN7 pin9 to pin-18 have signals. If not, replace U16. s (1) Check if VGA cabling connected correctly. (2) Execute the auto-calibration function in the Manual PC options. s (1) Check if YPbPr/VGA cabling connected correctly. (2) Execute the auto-color-calibration function in the Manual PC options. s Damage to some components may lead to slow power on. Most Debug messages are I2C error codes, and it will indicate which system component is experiencing errors. Below are the componentsand their corresponding addresses: 0x40, 0x42: SAA_7119 Video Decoder 0xC0, 0xC2: Tuner 0x80, 0x82: MSP34XX Audio Decoder 0xA2 : NVRam 0xB8 : 3D_Comb Filter 0xD0 : Faroudja 0x28, 0x2A : CC_VChip 0x22 : Micronas TeleText Module 0x60, 0x68 : SIL9011

Title: BURN-IN & Help Programs Test Spec. (LT3200) Use up and down arrow keys to select BURN-IN Test option. Use Select key to start BURN-IN operation. BURN-IN process generates red, green, blue, black and blue screens and then changes to TV port (there is no signal at the moment and noise will appear). This process will repeat itself without a time limit, as shown as the following:
Each screen will appear for 20 seconds and then change to the next one. To stop it, press up and down arrow keys or POWER key on the main unit. BURN-IN process must at least last more than four hours. There cant be power failure and the program cant be stopped during this process. Check it when the time is up. There cant be process stopping, wrong picture or operation failure. If any of the above situations appear, the process failed. 3.2 LUM 1 & LUM 2 Settings: Use special remote control to open this program. Use up and down arrow keys to select. LUM 1 is the default brightness and backlight settings. It is the ideal helper for Color Temperature Brightness Test Spec. LUM 2 is max brightness and backlight settings.
