A lamp is reanimated after a long hibernation its first thoughts are to play with fellow display buddies. The lamp clumsily trips ensuing a chain reaction of bad karma.

The Mysterious Antique Shop Arson Script
ACT 3 (END) SCENE 1 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------EXT. ANTIQUE LAMP SHOP - DAY 3:15PM A security camera is filming a burning building across the road, there is a smashed lamp leading up the steps to the entrance. Questions ensue. The video footage is suddenly paused & rewound which causes the camera to zoom in to the lamp ensuing a flash back to earlier in the day. ACT 1 (BEGINNING FLASHBACK) SCENE 2 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------INT. ANTIQUE LAMP SHOP - DAY 2:13PM An extravagant antique shop can be seen with a multitude of lamps stacked to the rafters, each lamp fits in perfectly with the dcor, with the exception of one. An old dust ridden lamp can be seen, strange in design & tacky almost, the silence is suddenly broken with the sound of a flickering bulb.

OLD LAMP (Waking) The shop goes silent once again as the bulb cuts out. Everything is once again suspended in silence; the camera zooms closer into the dust ridden lamp. Suddenly the bulb lights fully and awakens. The old lamp begins to move as if awaking from a slumber; the lamp shakes the dust from its bizarre head hat & glances around the shop. OLD LAMP (Grunting) The old lamp gets excited like a playful puppy when it notices the other lamps on display. OLD LAMP (Excitement) The old lamp dashes over to the lamps not noticing its wire is stretched out in front of it. OLD LAMP (Yelping) The lamp topples into another lamp which in turn falls into another & another like dominoes. SCENE 3 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ACT 2 (MIDDLE) The old lamp awakes from its slumber to find every lamp in the store is broken because of it. The lamp hops over and tries to get a response from one the lamps, there is no reply. The lamp tries to hide the bodies of its antique friends, in doing so it trips over its wire once again.

OLD LAMP (Aggrovated) The lamp gets aggravated with its limited range of movement due to it being plugged in; the lamp tugs on the wire gradually ripping the socket from the wall. Sparks begin to emit from the wall socket igniting the antique shop carpet. The lamp still hiding the bodys starts to notice the smoke, the lamp turns. OLD LAMP (Surprised) The lamp is met by a rising flame in the corner of the shop; the lamp runs over and begins jumping on it, in an attempt to put it out. OLD LAMP (Panic) The lamps wooden foot begins to catch on fire, so he hops from the flames; his cord is melted from the socket, freeing him to escape. EXT. ANTIQUE LAMP SHOP - DAY SCENE 4 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------OLD LAMP (Coughing) The lamp hops out of the shop entrance just before the shop fills with flames, the old lamp looks at its wire melted. The old lamps energy then begins diminishing at an alarming rate. OLD LAMP (Powering down)

The lamps light begins to flicker just before its energy empties, the lamp collapses at the shop entrance breaking its bulb. ACT 3 (END) The scene then returns to the security camera across the street that surveyed all of the carnage. The footage is stopped & is then systematically erased by an unknown party with the mystery living on indefinitely. END
