CLASSEDGEan innovative and comprehensive educational solution from Tata Interactive Systems (TIS)is designed to help teachers deliver high quality instructions, with an effective blend of classroom activities and interactive multimedia demonstrations. Enhancing Teaching and Learning

The use of multimedia in classrooms can improve learning and retention only when it is combined with effective pedagogy. In fact, the most important aspect of education is to enable teachers to teach effectively so that students can develop the skills and mental models required to face the world of tomorrow. The Multiple Learning Experiences Modelthe CLASSEDGE instructional frameworkis based on the premise that students learn better through a variety of multisensory experiences, including hands-on activities, discussions, debates, creative and critical thinking activities, collaborative research, field trips and multimedia.

CLASSEDGE SERVER

Infrastructure
TIS will install all the required infrastructure hardware, software and data networking required for using CLASSEDGE. TIS will provide Internet connectivity to schools to access the CLASSEDGE web-based portal as well as general educational content. An EDGECENTRE will be setup in schools to enable teachers to have access to the content and prepare for their classes.

Services
TIS will maintain the equipment provided to school. TIS will train teachers on using the system. TIS will provide: A trained full-time EDGECENTRE coordinator Two TEACHEREDGE sessions (our proprietary teacher training service) per academic year The services of an educational consultant for supporting teachers on the use of CLASSEDGE
