Course Overview
By taking Behavioral Science, you will become aware of psychological principles that will shape your personal, academic, and professional development. The course is designed around the learning-centered approach to education. The learning-centered approach puts you in charge of your learning experience, thus fostering independent thinking and problem solving. The course format will require you to be proactive in your educational goals since there are no required activities. This month you will have the ability to develop an educational plan that meets your own unique needs and choose to complete the activities that you find most appealing.

Textbook
Please make sure to download your Behavioral Science textbook from the References tab. You will need to read the instruction page that appears in order to download the needed software. When prompted to enter the password, please type BSC.
Submitting Activities
Activities should be saved using the following format: Name_Assignment (JohnSmith_Blueprint5). Only in the event of a technical difficulty should an assignment be uploaded to an instructors DROPitTOme. All assignments must be received before the specified due date, or the assignment will be graded at a 0.
Activity Points
There are 160 points available to you in this course. You need to earn a minimum of 70 points (and 100% Professionalism grade) in order to pass the course with a C. If you earn 100 points (and 100% Professionalism grade) you will receive a 100% in the course. You cannot earn higher than a 100% in the course. All activities are graded on a pass or fail basis. You will either earn all points or 0 points. Half credit will NOT be given for activities. Before submitting, please double check activities to assure all requirements are completed. The activities must meet the full expectations and demonstrate thorough comprehension of the chapter materials in order to receive credit.
Late Policy
All deadlines are 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time of the date given. Thus, please be aware of your time zone and make necessary adjustments. All assignments are due by the deadlines posted and will not be accepted late, unless for extenuating reasons stipulated in Full Sails Online Student Manual. Individual technical difficulties are not considered an acceptable excuse for noncompliance with deadlines.

Professionalism Grade
All students start with 100% in professionalism, based on Full Sails Global Professionalism Standards policy. Deductions are made based upon attitude or performance that do not exemplify the Full Sail GPS standards. More information is provided in the online assignment titled Professionalism Assignment (GPS). If a student loses GPS points during the duration of the semester, the student may need to earn more than 70 points in order to pass the course.

You are responsible for reading over the Academic Honesty Policy section in your student handbook to become familiar with this policy.

Below is an example of how a student chose to earn his points to pass Behavioral Science.
In Week 1, he chose to: - attend 1 wimba session - complete 2 discussion boards -complete 1 creative assignment This earned him 35 points in the 1st week.
In Week 2, he chose to: - complete 1 discussion board - complete 1 creative assignment This earned him 25 points in the 2nd week.
In Week 3, he chose to: - attend 1 wimba session - complete 2 discussion boards This earned him 15 points in the 3rd week.
In Week 4, he chose to: - attend 2 wimba sessions - complete 1 discussion board This earned him 15 points in the 4th week.
His total points for all 4 weeks was 90. These 90 points are worth 90% of his overall grade. The other 10% of his grade is 100 for Professionalism. Combine these two point values and he earns a 91% overall in the course.
