Notes: a Date of report submission is subjected to changes based on evaluators terms and conditions. b Appointment for the oral session must be made with the respective evaluator. Lab Instructors: 1. Mr. Suhaimi Puteh 2. Mr. Aidil Shafiza Safiee Pre-Lab Session 1. Every group must get approval from Lab Instructor in order to start the laboratory project. 2. Lab Instructors recommendations must be taken into account as part of the laboratory project.

Laboratory Project Logbook 1. Every student is required to have his own logbook to record all ideas and information of the laboratory project. 2. The logbook must be a hardcover and in A4 size. 3. The logbook may be used for both BFM2303 Analog Electronics and BFM2313 Digital Electronics. 4. Any recommendation must be recorded in the logbook. Item to be submitted: 1. Report of the laboratory project (no more than 4 pages) containing: a) Name of students b) Title of laboratory project c) Objective of the laboratory project d) Component required e) Circuit diagram f) Procedures g) Laboratory project results h) Discussion i) Conclusion 2. During oral session a) Completed circuit for demonstration purpose b) Logbook Oral Session 1. The duration for each oral session shall take place not more than 10 minutes for each group. 2. Every group must first explain to the evaluator the objective of the laboratory project and show the recommendation from the Lab Instructor. 3. Every group shall present their completed circuit based on their approved laboratory project. 4. Every group must demonstrate to the Evaluator that the circuit is functioning according to the plan. Marks Distribution Per Laboratory Project 1. Pre-lab session =15% 2. Final Report = 30% 3. Real Circuit = 20% 4. Oral Session = 35% TOTAL = 100% Here are some guidelines to help you perform the laboratory project and submit the report. 1. Ask lab instructor if you are unsure of anything. 2. Record actual results (comment on them if they are unexpected!) 3. Write up suitable conclusions for each experiment. 4. If you have any doubt about the safety of any procedure, contact lab instructor beforehand. 5. Think about what you are doing! GOOD LUCK!!!
