OBJETIVOS GERAIS: Desenvolver atividades que criem contextos relevantes para a prtica da compreenso e da expresso oral e escrita em Lngua

a Inglesa. Promover a reflexo entre o uso da linguagem em geral (e da Lngua Inglesa em particular) e o exerccio da cidadania. Fortalecer o esprito de solidariedade e colaborao do aluno em seu processo de aprendizagem. Incentivar os alunos e professores a participarem ativamente no processo de ensinoaprendizagem atravs do estabelecimento de conexes entre escola e outros contextos sociais. Desenvolver mltiplas habilidades cognitivas a partir da ativao do conhecimento prvio e de prticas didtico-pedaggicas que envolvem o aprendiz de forma crtica, consciente e criativa no seu processo de aprendizagem. Promover a diversidade na representao de papis e prticas sociais. Incentivar o reconhecimento e apreciao da diversidade cultural. Promover a articulao entre a Lngua Inglesa e outras reas do conhecimento. Desenvolver estratgias de aprendizagem nas quatro habilidades lingusticas, possibilitando a formao de aprendizes autnomos.

OBJETIVOS ESPECFICOS: Estabelecer conexes entre o tema da unidade e o mundo do aluno. Desenvolver estratgias de reading atravs do trabalho com diversos gneros textuais. Desenvolver estratgias de listening. Desenvolver estratgias de speaking. Apresentar a gramtica em uso. Estimular a curiosidade dos alunos acerca da estrutura da Lngua Inglesa. Promover a construo do conhecimento sistmico da Lngua Inglesa. Desenvolver a autonomia dos aprendizes e sua capacidade de interferncia de estruturas gramaticais. Promover a expanso do vocabulrio. Usar novo vocabulrio em contexto. Desenvolver estratgias de writing. Encorajar o uso da Lngua Inglesa em contexto genuno de comunicao. Estimular o aluno a refletir sobre questes socioculturais e a posicionar-se perante situaes diversas de forma fundamentada. Desenvolver o esprito crtico, a capacidade de anlise e noes de cidadania.
